The location was in a quiet area on the edge of town but still in walking distance of a 7-11 and restaurants.

The breakfast was from outside - was ok (if I am not mistaken it was soy milk and Chinese donut). Parking was available. If you get the room with the balcony, you can enjoy the view while having breakfast. Peaceful and lovely. About 20-30 mins drive to Sun Moon Lake. I’d recommend this place if you are traveling by car.

It’s in the middle of nature which was so relaxing! The host is fantastic - hospitable, kind, responsive and speaks perfect english. He gave us recommendations on what to see and where to go. He also told us lots of things about Taiwanese culture which was so interesting!! The room was great - clean, spacious and the bed was super comfy. The house is huge and has a massage chair, terrace with a view, a big yard and so many other amenities guests are allowed to use. The host has three beautiful dogs. Definitely recommend staying here!
