Our lodge was fantastic, very comfortable, well equipped kitchen, immaculately clean. Beds are super comfortable. The styling and decor is second to none. The owner showed us around the grounds and the Viking hall, another stunning piece of architecture. They have sheep - the lambs were super cute - and they make their own maple syrup from their own trees. This is a serene place in the woods, relaxing, quiet, and you can hear nature around you. TV, Wifi and Netflix available if you want to use that. I cooked but you can take a short drive to nearby towns for food. They have a directory in the lodges to tell you all about the area and give food recommendations. The Village looks amazing at night too with all the ambient lighting. We stepped outside to a very atmospheric full moon, starry skies and sounds of nature in the trees. Best night's sleep and best shower on our whole trip! Customer service is fabulous, the owner is more than happy to chat and tell you about the village and area. If we are ever in the US on vacation again, we will be back!
