The location was beautiful! The owners, the manager and the staff are all super friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The breakfast, lunch and dinner are really great with delicious dishes with fresh ingredients. There is also a wide choice for vegetarians which is great! The restaurant is very cozy and has a beautiful view over the bay, with a terrace right on the water. The PADI dive center of Turtle Bay Lodge is conveniently located next to the restaurant and is practically furnished with many different items, such as kayaks, paddle boards, snorkeling gear, etc. There is also a nice shop at the reception with beautiful merchandise to have a nice memory of your stay. The dive sites are very close to Turtle Bay Lodge, close to several nearby islands. You can also snorkel in front of the restaurant, which is great. The atmosphere throughout the site is very relaxing and you can enjoy yourself in a hammock under the trees. At the reception you can arrange any excursions you want to do, or even rent a buggy if you want to go out on your own. Santo island is so beautiful, with such friendly people!

The host Stacey and Ashley were amazing and really carrying ! Plus, the Villa was really comfy and cosy. The restaurant offers lots of choices and the meals are delicious.

The staff went out of their way to look after you. Kathy was great even doing our laundry. Whilst the property is a little out of town very easy to get a bus or taxi. Locally operated and great value for money.

Our host Esline was super nice and kind, giving us an upgrade and inviting us for a delicious dinner prepared by her. The housekeeping lady Lina and his family are so nice and sweet and they made our stay amazing. Ginger the dog is very nice too :) the rooms are clean, spacious and well equipped, right in front of the villas there is a nice and accessible spot for swimming (there is a wreck too), when the sea is calm it is a nice place to snorkel. Angelique is an exceptional host and a highlight was spending the day with her family preparing a traditional meal cooked in the firepit. The beach is stunning, just like a postcard photo and we had it to ourselves most of the time. Angelique prepared lovely meals everyday and was great to chat to. The treehouse was really special and met our needs. The whole stay was relaxing, a really nice slow pace with swimming, reading, some games and more swimming.

Our stay at the freshwater Plantation farm stay was absolutely amazing! The bungallow is so beautiful, it is situated directly on the beach and has an amazing sea view. They also have a super nice restaurant, with delicious meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Try the chicken Parmiggiana! We really enjoyed the evenings with Vini and Klaas, to talk about interesting topics by a glass of wine. We did the diving at the coolidge, while we stayed at their accommodation and they drove us every time and picked us up. We also went snorkelling, right in front of the bungallow and the reef is pretty decent (we even saw morey eels and lion fish). It grows back slowly after the cyclone.
