Featuring a private beach area, garden and views of sea, Matevulu Lodge is located in Luganville, 24 km from SS President Coolidge. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. Had a lovely few days here. Felt very relaxed in the beach huts right on the beach, with some snorkelling and exploring the lagoon. The host is really nice and helpful, planning lots of trips for us (scuba diving, daytrips, transfers etc) and great local knowledge. The kitchen facilities are really good for self catering, and the breakfast was fresh (especially loved the pancakes one day!). The water is also safe to drink. The showers have hot water too, the WiFi was very fast, and reliable charging facilities. The location is perfect for visiting the blue holes easily (all 1000vt entrance). They have kayaks and SUPs to use. For Riri Hole (my favourite), it was amazing to paddleboard up the super clear river to the blue hole. And for Matevulu Hole it was only a 25 minute walk from the lodge. Transfer from the airport costs 3500vt total, but includes a stop at the supermarket for supplies (it’s difficult otherwise!) and SIM cards. Get cash out at the ATMs in Santo Airport. Overall a really great option for a short tropical escape whilst also experiencing lots of stunning attractions nearby. Thanks so much to the team!

Set in Luganville, 3.2 km from SS President Coolidge, Bombua Beach House offers accommodation with a private beach area, free private parking, an infinity pool and a garden. The property was built in 2023 and has air-conditioned accommodation with a patio. The accommodation provides luggage storage space, room service and currency exchange for guests. We stayed at Bombua Beach House for 9 days in the Garden View Villa with a private pool, and it was such a beautiful, relaxing experience. The villa itself was really lovely - cute, modern, thoughtfully designed, and very generously air-conditioned which we especially appreciated on hot days. It was surrounded by lush greenery, which made it very peaceful and enjoyable to spend time there, especially lounging by the pool. It felt private, calm, and perfect for switching off completely. Ash and Stacy were great hosts - genuinely welcoming, caring, and always happy to help. You could really feel how much they care about their guests having a great stay. For the entire duration of our stay we ate at the Bombua Beach Restaurant, which was excellent. The menu - breakfast, lunch and dinner - had a great variety of delicious food and drinks, and everything we tried was fantastic. As someone with coeliac (gluten-free) requirements, we felt especially well looked after - the team were attentive and very careful with details to make sure everything was safe and enjoyable. Overall, Bombua Beach House is great place - peaceful, beautifully run, and full of heart. We’d highly recommend it and would love to return one day!

Set in Luganville, Lope Lope Beach Bungalows offers accommodation with pool with a view, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. Guests staying at this aparthotel have access to a patio. The aparthotel has family rooms. Great set up; our bungalow was well-designed, comfortable, had all the conveniences needed, including a gnerously sized deck. Liked having a swimming pool to cool off, a cabana for lounging around in, SUPs and a beach with reef within paddling distance, and a freshwater creek next door. The location is perfect – close enough to Luganville to pick up supplies, but nice and close to Matevulu, Riri and other famous east coast Santo attractions. Owners were very helpful and attentive, and the breakfast on the first morning was a nice touch.

The treehouse is beautiful, the beach is pristine and very pretty, very good food and an enchanting hostess. Paradise !

Situated in Luganville, 13 km from SS President Coolidge, Freshwater Plantation Farm Stay features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a private beach area and a terrace. Among the various facilities of this property are a restaurant, a bar and a tennis court. Free WiFi is provided. Our stay at the freshwater Plantation farm stay was absolutely amazing! The bungallow is so beautiful, it is situated directly on the beach and has an amazing sea view. They also have a super nice restaurant, with delicious meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Try the chicken Parmiggiana! We really enjoyed the evenings with Vini and Klaas, to talk about interesting topics by a glass of wine. We did the diving at the coolidge, while we stayed at their accommodation and they drove us every time and picked us up. We also went snorkelling, right in front of the bungallow and the reef is pretty decent (we even saw morey eels and lion fish). It grows back slowly after the cyclone.

We had paradise just to ourselves! I really can‘t agree with the last review that was written here. Our rooms were ready when we got there. The Bungalow was really clean, yes maybe some small stains on the white linen (what do you expect in the tropics). Wendy is an absolutely amazing host! She goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome! Food is absolutely delicious in the restaurant and fairly priced as they are large portions as well! They even prepared us breakfast when we had to leave for the airport at 5:45 am!! You can charge your phone while you eat at the restaurant - they always turn on the generator from 6:30 pm - 8pm so you can also charge it in your room. We had no issues with using the solar power even during rainy season. Our Mosquito net had no holes. There are also mosquito nets on all the windows and there is bug spray in the room and anti mosquito coils. All in all it was a very comfortable stay and by far the best price to value ratio we have had in whole Vanuatu! Would stay with Wendy at Lonnoc Lodge everytime!
