A great house in a great central location close to lots of local vineyards. Very comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen and a range of indoor and outdoor common areas for eating and relaxing.The wood burner was a welcome bonus. Great to have a separate bed for all 9 of our group of retired friends. Bathroom facilities excellent. Highly recommended.

    The house was bigger than expected, toys, scooters, playground, cubby house and the field made it easy for the adults to relax while the kids had so much fun with plenty of freedom and space. The fact the place was dog friendly made it more special to have the opportunity to include our fury friends. The property included everything in the kitchen plus firewood for the outdoor fire place. So happy with our stay.

    Amazing location set on a vineyard. Relaxing and peaceful. Brilliant that dogs are welcome too. The host was lovely and friendly. We didn't want to leave!

    Keys in the door on arrival, the Manager is a top bloke, an excellent family stay location , pet friendly, wide upon spaces , vineyard setting ,hot air balloons in the air. And the dam water was to cold for Yabbies.

    Cozy cottage, comfy beds in a pretty location. Dog loved walks in the paddock. Manager Geoff was very friendly and helpful. Fire was lovely but cool in the mornings until it was restarted. Watching hot air balloons drift by. in the mornings such a treat.

    We’ve been visiting Hunter Hideaway for around 7 years now. Originally we went back because it was clean and dog friendly, but now we return because of the hospitality and the coziness that the cabins have taken on. We love the serenity of Hunter Hideaway and it’s been a joy watching them transform over recent years into really comfortable, well equipped cabins suitable for human kids and fur kids alike.
