I can only recommend it. I was so lucky with the hosts. They are super nice, very caring and help as much as possible. They realky make you feel at home. For an extra fee I was picked up by car from the next town. Although I booked a small accomodation I was offered the biggest one for the same price. You can rent also a bike, not new but ok. You can also buy some self-made honey. While hiking I lost track and had to sleep in a mountain hut. The hosts took no risks and immediately informed mountain rescue, which picked me up next morning (I could have made it alone, but this was better decision). Thank you for everything!

I was very lucky - Maidin is a great person and did not make a noise at all about the fact I arrived an hour later than planned due to roadworks. It is true that the place is somewhat outside the city centre, so definitely better with a car, but is it extremely peaceful and the accommodation is quite spacious. Great option for a one-night or extended stay.

There are places that are just nice and then there are places like Vikend na Ozrenu that are truly special! Beautiful location in the middle of nature, lovely old houses restored with care and very friendly hosts that may even invite you to sit at their table. If you want to get away from your every day life to find some peace, this is for you. Just be careful about one thing: make sure to plan enough days to be there, because you will probably want to stay for longer than you think.
