Very attentive reception staff - organised and friendly pick-up service. Exceptional breakfast and dinner. High quality food. Compliments to the chef and its team - they manage to surprise us every day, Extremely helpful staff in general & cosy atmosphere. Rooms are really big for what we have gotten to know of in Switzerland. Nice indoor pool and a beautiful "schwimmteich" outside. And last but not not least: the views are incredible.

We loved staying at Chalet Aargovia. Wengen is beautiful. The home has an amazing view. It is perfect for families. The host Alex was very easy to communicate with. He was quickly able to answer the few questions we had. We found the walk to and from the station enjoyable. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was lots of space for our family.

The best experience in Wengen! We loved it a lot. The location is great and the area is something. It was the fist time in Swiss Alps but after this trip I am sure we gonna come back. They keep cleanliness on a high level. Room was pretty nice and we got amazing view from our balcony to Swiss Alps ( room 235 ). I recommend this room big time. Also very sweet from the hotel is having coffee machine at the room. I am sure every coffee lover will appreciate it. Also we discovered all area and made sure it was best hotel in Wengen as per the view.

A hidden treasure from a bygone era of romance and elegance. Breakfast was included and was sumptuous to both behold and consume. The breakfast hall was truly splendid, and the full breakfast was delicious. Amazing stay, highly recommend. Historic building, and INSANE views from the room balcony. Staff were extremely attentive, breakfast was fantastic. Short and easy access (although uphill!) from the Wengen train station. Perfect base for the area, and easy to leave car at the Lauterbrunnen train station before taking the short train up to Wengen. Highly recommend.

    Location is central and on the Main Street. So easy access. But it also means it is super loud late into the night. The staff was very friendly. The hotel made my dog feel very welcome. She got a bag of treats as a welcome gift. They also provided food and water dishes which was super. Very clean.

    Excellent location at the foot of the ski lift. Booked because it was dog friendly (although we didn’t then take the dogs). Excellent and plentiful breakfast, including Easter eggs for Easter weekend - a nice touch. Bonus that the spa is included.

    This property is in such an awesome location with amazing views and the person at the front desk was great; he was very friendly and went out of his way to assist us. We stayed in a family suite with a queen bed downstairs and two twin beds in the loft. The room was great with a balcony and views on both sides. Waking up to falling snow and views of the snow capped mountains was amazing. Also loved that the hotel is pet friendly and right next to the Wengen station.

    Gorgeous historic inn with lots of personality. Great location in Wengen close to tram station and other nearby towns for day trips. Beautiful antique woodwork and original pieces all over the inn. Fabulous bar and pleasant staff with easy check in. Dinner at night reminds me of home cooked meals. And my favorite is the inn dog Charlie!

    The most dog friendly hotel ever, not only from the description! Pets are welcome also in restaurant, during breakfast our dog get home made snacks and fresh water. Water bowls on the entrance, a display case with dog supplies in the lobby. Hotel Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect, 3 minutes walk from station. Windows view was beatiful, breakfast generous and coffee delicious. For me one of the best places we've stayed in. For sure we will come back!
