The place was very clean and clearly recently renovated. I didn't receive check-in instructions, but after a quick call to the host, we received instructions on how to get the keys from the key safe. Check-in is available 24 hours, which is great. Free parking is available behind the building. The area is beautiful and tranquil with lovely places for walking, the access there is very easy from the main motorways.

The rooms were large and very clean, underfloor heating was very nice. It was quiet and peaceful and we slept very well. Breakfast was very fresh and well prepared and the staff were efficient and friendly.

The cost of accommodation was only €14 per night, which gives you a roof above your head + Hay bed + Access to kitchen + Refrigerator + Indoor warm shower + toilets + Outdoor shower. There is a barbecue near the Shepherd's Wagon, and free parking, at this price you won't find anywhere else in Germany. The surroundings are quite peaceful and there are farm animals to interact with. The owner has kept extra sleeping bags in the barn, should anyone forget to get their own. There is a bookshelf inside the building if you like to read. A unique experience of staying in a barn.

    We booked last minute when travelling through Germany, so the location was the primary concern. Accommodation was really clean and rooms had nice balconies. Quiet place for sleeping, almost 'countryside' feelings. Friendly staff and good (and not expensive) beer in the end. Bonus - you can see the European highest salt-mountain, we didn't expect that.
