The place is very nice, with kind and helpful staff. They offered hibiscus juice as welcome drinks and provided water throughout our stay. The owner Hafez was helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. The room was clean and design is modern and comfortable but with a Nubian style. It’s also fun to stay in the Nubian village and we got to see crocodile in people’s homes. There was also a nice restaurant next door that we ate for both nights so after all we had everything despite it’s remote location and we don’t regret staying there because Aswan’s city center also doesn’t have much for tourists.

The location on the west bank, what for me was more interesting, is a small village, relax place and great view for Nile and the city. We loved our stay. Mr abu is a good man and did everything to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Breakfast is also very nice. The stuffed omelette was really tasteful. The pick up and drop from the dock is a super manner to reach the place. Also the location is perfect for staying in aswan.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful. Waking up to the view of the Nile was fantastic and we loved the bungalow style accommodation. The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best stay. The food in the restaurant was brilliant and they always gave us huge portions! We loved staying in the Nubian village and exploring in the evenings and had a lovely day trip down the Nile to Aswan stopping at all the tourist spots for sight seeing.

The owner was really nice, always prepared a nice breakfast during our stay and helped us getting nice tours with fair prices. The place was well located in the more quiet Elephantine Island, right next to the boat (that costs 10 pounds) and close to restaurants run by other members of the family, which have delicious food.

We experienced genuine Nubian hospitality. The people who run this guest house are so warm & friendly. The guest house sits right on the Nile and the view from the restaurant is stunning. The rooms are simple and clean with good air-conditioning and ample plugs in the room for charging phones etc. We had breakfast and lunch at the restaurant and the food was great! The guest house has a laid back vibe and is run by people who are proud of their Nubian culture and want to share it with their guests. We booked a boat ride around the island with them and the owner came along and gave us the history of the area and pointed out all the sights. He also gave us a walking tour of the island showing us the farms and houses. It was so wonderful to experience the real Nubian culture.
