Our host Antonia was very friendly and helpful. He drove us through the town to orientate ourselves and recommended where to eat etc Antonia’s property is full of el Rocia ‘s culture and history and has a lovely feel of a home

This place is so unique, it was a very special experience. We had a warm welcome and every staff member was helpful and polite. We had a double room upstairs that looked out over the large courtyard, like a Moroccan Riad style. Our clean room had a comfortable bed, plenty of storage space, and a good-sized bathroom. It had an air-conditioner, shutters, and curtains. There are chairs and tables on the ground floor to use and a lounge area inside. Its not far along the lake boardwalk to cafes, shops, or the church, and a supermarket is close by.

La Fonda Del Rocio is in the Andalusian village of El Rocío, 100 metres from the Rocío Sanctuary. Staff can also arrange trips and tours of the nearby Doñana National Park.

A lovely quiet place close to the heart of the town. Lovely owners and staff, the bottles of water offered when I arrived all pink and sweaty on my bicycle were especially welcome. Thank you, too, for the advice on the old road across the Doñanas towards Sevilla .

Superb, the host was very friendly. El Rocio was incredible.

Great villa, the town was quiet and not many options for food after 6pm. Last night was very hot and the air con didn’t work
