I like how clean the room is and how friendly the staff is, especially the manager, Yohannes. He is a great person.

Great place to stay, very warm welcome from the staff. Gashew at the reception was very polite and helped arrange the pickup to the airport. He also always made sure that everything was ok (And it was) Birhan, the manager is such a kind soul, he helped a lot, even when I was sick, during my whole stay in Lalibela. He's the fun cheerful type of guy and he made my stay much better. The place is super clean, with a good bathroom, a comfortable bed, a good view of the surrounding mountains. It's mostly quiet (Except in the morning where there often are religious events around) The location is also perfect for visiting the city and its surroundings, the churches are five minutes away, same for the "city center" (¿not sure?) where all the banks and ATM are located. Otherwise the small restaurant under the guest house is one of the best in town for Farenjis. The food quality is good and it's not too overpriced (Especially considering the other options in town), with good international options (But also Injera) I definitely recommend this place!

- arranged pick up and drop off at the airport - amazing modern, clean and spacious room - absolutely delicious food and coffee - nice surrounding with a lovely garden - guarded entrance - accommodation is walking distance from the UNESCO site and town center - I was warmly welcomed by the host and his family - the host is ready to assist with any issues - I was given information about my options what I can do/visit during my stay - the host kept in touch with me via WhatsApp and when I needed anything I got reply in a very short time

New hotel in excellent location in Lalibela, which amazing views from the rooms. The staff were so kind and spoke excellent English, breakfast and dinner were generous and tasty, and it is only a 2 minute walk to the famous churches of Lalibela. The rooms are huge with comfortable beds and lots of hot water. Highly recommend!

It's a really nice hotel with a great view. It was clean and had hot shower. The staff was very friendly and helpful and made my stay great and safe.

The owner, Teddy arranged the transfer from the airport to the guesthouse, with a local taxi, at the real price. His all family are very friendly and helpful. The guesthouse (very clean, with a remarkable view to the mountains) is close to the monolithic monasteries and the restaurant Kana, where you can take the lunch or dinner. Teddy can arrange various tours with various guides at reasonable prices. It was the best option to choose Merkeza Guest House.
