The champagne was exquisite, perfectly complementing the enchanting ambiance of the château. Both dining experiences exceeded our expectations. L’Orangerie provided a Michelin-star-worthy dinner that was a true culinary masterpiece, while the other restaurant offered equally remarkable cuisine with refined flavors and presentation. Breakfast was an experience in itself—abundant, fresh, and absolutely worth it. It provided the perfect start to our day, ensuring we were well-prepared for exploring the beautiful Champagne region. Our group of 7 guests and 4 pugs had an exceptional stay at Gîte La Villa Marcelle. We loved the beautifully renovated and tastefully furnished villa, which offered a perfect blend of modern comfort and charm. The kitchen was well-equipped which allowed us to have delicious family breakfasts and dinners. We were also provided with various coffee options, including filter and capsule machines, which we thoroughly appreciated. The hosts welcomed us warmly with champagne from their family’s vineyard and a delicious home-baked cake, making us feel truly special. Additionally, the lovely enclosed garden was perfect for our dogs to roam safely, and the provided water bowl and poo bags were a considerate touch. The hosts were flexible and accommodating with our check-in and check-out arrangements, and there was ample parking for our two vehicles. Communication was easy with the hosts and we would gladly return to this wonderful retreat.
