Beautiful view of the lake, had a hot tub which was covered which was perfect for the odd rain shower we had. Lovely staff, very friendly and chatty. Literally nothing to complain about :). All and all a nice chilled out night away!

I loved the quirkiness of the building. Think - sloping floors, exposed beams, charm and character, character, CHARACTER! I had an early flight and after such a great sleep at Swanswell Gatehouse I honestly didn't want to miss my flight by settling in bed. So I freshened up in the amazing hot shower and left early. However I loved feeling like I really had stepped back in time!

    The Oak is now our go-to place to stay when visiting our daughter who lives in Coventry. Tried a few others, but keep coming back here. Pub is spacious and very clean. The staff are lovely. Room always spotless (Alison really pulls out all the stops) Breakfast is good, lots of options included in the very reasonable rate. Good choice of beer too. Haven't eaten here other than breakfast. Really need to put that right next visit. Dog friendly too with a dog menu!

    Absolutely loved the motel style and having dogs, being so close to the grass and parking made life soo much easier. From a pet friendly perspective it's the best place I've stayed in that respect. Breakfast was lovely and exactly what was needed. Location is perfect for when we are travelling to various dog shows in the area.

    The property is located right in the centre of Coventry City Centre. There was no noise at night from the outside seeing as it is so close to all of the attractions. The property is pet friendly so we bought our dog Enzo (huge cane corso) who was a hit with everyone in the town. We definitely recommend this accommodation over any hotel

    Excellent value overall. The bed was very comfortable with new pillows and linen. The location was very peaceful at the time of our stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming with cheerful banter. We had a meal on our arrival which was superb and the breakfast the following morning didn't disapoint. There was even a farmers market that morning in the car park to get some local produce. They also appeared to be very dog friendly with a dedicated menu for your canine family member.
