The peaceful environment with amazing views of the countryside. Very spotless property lovely touch with the welcome pack on arrival. Great walks of the Orchard and beyond. food was incredible very tasty and good sized portions , Mark and his team were very friendly and knowledgeable ,we took our dog with us and she was made very welcome and they made lots of fuss which she loves along with all the free doggy treats. we stayed for two nights and the room was very clean and had all of the amenities you would expect in a 5 star hotel ! . bonus of lovely countryside walks down the river , helped work off the extra pounds we put on ! thanks Mark and your fabulous team for a brilliant birthday stay ,we will defiantly staying again .

A beautiful bijou place to stay. The host was amazing very accommodating. Fresh eggs, milk, tea and coffee at the property for us. They even popped in to put the heaters on, when it snowed whist we were out ! Our two Yorkies loved it too. Five star property *****

7 The Walks was full of character and was very comfortable. Really comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms, a large kitchen and large comfortable lounge.Very clean and well equipped, e.g. a proper washing-up cloth rather than the usual j-cloth! I loved the old-fashioned toilet with the pull chain which reminded me of my childhood at my grandmother’s house. I also loved the wonky floors and the first floor bedroom with the low beamed ceiling and the old wooden bed in it (very comfortable mattress). It was lovely to wake up in the morning with a ‘lost in time’ feeling. Parking wasn’t a problem. Two close lovely walks to the right and left.

Beautiful area, cabin was very clean and the hosts were friendly and helpful. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed - good value for money. We also really appreciated the information booklet given as it was thorough and included nearby shops.
