It’s hard to describe why you leave some places feeling happy and warm at heart, (and not really wanting to leave at all) but I’ll give it a go. The Osprey is a one of a kind hotel in the heart of Scotland. We booked it on a whim on our way back to Edinburgh after a week in the Highlands, it had the perfect location since we didn’t want to drive for too long, great reviews and a room available for three. Already at check-in you feel that it’s something out of the ordinairy. The owners Des and Sinead are warm and kind people with a great sense of humour, happy to help with restaurant suggestions or things to do in the area (or a birthday song, if you’re lucky!). The hotel itself is beautiful inside out, from the floral wallpaper and wooden floor to the picturesque stone facade partly covered in plants, nothing is left to chance. There’s no fuss or haste at The Osprey and we left feeling relaxed, well rested and wanting to come back! If the above isn’t convincing enough, in addition: The room was the nicest we had during our week in Scotland, super comfortable beds and bedding, a nice view over the park outside and very tasteful interior. The breakfast had a broad range of tasty and filling choices. The town of Kingussie itself was very charming and well worth a visit. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough.

Girl on the reception was lovely! Really friendly. Chalet was spotless, modern and very comfortable. Parking perfect. Cosy, bright and very comfortable stay. A bath would be nice but that is just my personal preferance.

Beautiful modern property set in an idyllic location , perfect layout and all facilities you could need for a weeks stay. Close to so many amazing locations to explore. So much wildlife around. There was a red squirrel that visited us every morning on the feeder a few metres from the entrance to the apartment. Abundant birdlife including a lot that were pretty rare, including crested tits.

The Location was great, right in the centre of town, our room was very comfortable and very clean, the staff and management were all very pleasant and helpful. Food was lovely and breakfast before leaving was very filling, made a special Valentine's getaway an incredibly memorable one .

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Seelies Luxury Aparthotel in Kingussie. The apartment was beautifully decorated and spacious. Despite being located in the heart of the town, it was incredibly quiet and peaceful, offering the perfect combination of tranquility and convenience. Everything I needed, from shops to restaurants, was just a short walk away. What impressed me most was how well-organized everything was—everything I could possibly need was already provided, so I never had to ask for a thing. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, making sure my stay was comfortable and seamless.

A nice country hotel with a modern touch. Nice decoraded rooms and warm desing in the restaurant and public areas. The food was as perfection and the staff was very helpfull. Many parking places for the quest so it was easy to come. Surro unding areas are nice to see for a hour walk or more. I could highly recommend this place.

    The location was great catered for some guests using rail to arrive.bar facilities were good and good selection of food.hot tub was fab, view from the chalet was superb, parking was good, kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, catered for dogs in all facilities.     Great location, walk to local pub, walk to Loch insch, easy access to speyside way and Aviemore. We had campfire on the beach one night and takeaway at the pub the other. Tony was very welcoming and it was great to hear about the project. We were a group of 20, we had 8 rooms and the dining room was great to hang out together for breakfast and in the evenings. Very pet friendly.
