I really loved this place! Checking in was simple and easy. It was very easy to find and there was plenty of parking on the street out front. The place itself was just absolutely darling. It was very comfortable and had everything you could need. There were plenty of breakfast items provided too. The wifi was strong and there was an extender right in the sitting room which was easy to reset if needed. The hosts were wonderful, very quick to respond, and were helpful with everything needed. I ended up extending my stay as I enjoyed it so much and I can't wait to return!

Good sized room was nice and clean, able to get a comfortable room temperature using the electric heater for what was an exceptionally comfortable night's sleep for both of us. Breakfast consisted of everything you would want, including black pudding, haggis, eggs done to my liking, etc. Staff very pleasant. Room for parking immediately outside the front of the premises.

Quiet and secluded. Beautifully appointed and spotless. Owner very nice and friendly. The bed was the comfiest I have ever slept in. Lovely touches like tea and coffee and other little things left over to use. Just brilliant all round and the friendliest dogs you can imagine.

    The location was perfect for our needs as my husband was walking St Cuthbert’s Way and I was using the bus. Stop right outside the Bothy. I arrived early and the host let me in which was very kind. Host left so much for breakfast that it was enough for our packed lunches too. It was bright and clean with beautiful tasteful decor - much nicer than a hotel room as there was even real coffee and a cafetière.

    Warm, comfortable little house. Just a short walk from the pub/hotel where we enjoyed a nice meal. It is always nice to find places that are dog friendly so that was a bonus for us, there was even a dog bed provided and a bowl. Breakfast was appreciated too with instructions left as to how all the various kitchen gadgets worked, which was handy.
