The location of the property was directly at the river in the mangroves, it was just magical! The rooms were really comfy and the pool was so nice! You could rent kayaks for free and we had the best time on the river. The breakfast which was included was simple and yummy. We had a great time at El Puente!

thank you to macarena for a warm welcome and making it feel like home! after 5 months of travelling and sleeping in all sorts of places, the little private bungalow was an absolute luxury to me. everything is super clean, cozy and comfortable, made of natural materials so you’re guaranteed the best sleep of your life. i have never slept in a room so cozy! the location is away from all the partying, so finally i could get the quiet i really needed . and the owners are very kind and caring. there’s free water as well and a nice common area with a tree house like arrangement with lots of hammocks to relax and hide away from the heat.

I would recommend this place 100%! Super nice owners who are living their dream life. Friendly, helpful and very kind! A quiet place with good amenities! One of my favourite hostels I've stayed at! The owner and the tranquil vibes of the place is perfect. It's a small hostel with few guests and nothing crazy going on. I came here to rest and clear my mind which was perfect! But I know a lot of people go to El paredon for partying, so it was so nice to find this quiet and calm place in this town. The beds were also so comfy and each bed has their own fan which I really really appreciated.

The stuff is super friendly, creating really a family vibe. The food is excellent, the dinner buffet is changing everyday (Chinese, English, Mexican etc) and it was nice to eat something different than a tortilla after a 3 weeks in Guatemala :) the beach is wide and clean, we enjoyed our surf lessons. The extra bonus is the turtle releasing every morning. If you are a party person you will be more then happy.

Tallest tower in El Paredón with a cool view. But it’s an economical option for AC and a refreshing pool. Worth it with the heat. Owner there on the weekends and is very nice :)
