From the moment we arrived we received outstanding care from the on-site concierge. Nothing was too much trouble - from house cleaning to laundry and help with the local food delivery services. The apartment itself is spotless and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. AC in every room, kitchen with fridge, kettle and microwave and a water filter which meant that we did not have to buy bottled water. Beds were extremely comfortable and the roof terrace was a bonus extra space to hang out in the evenings. WiFi was excellent. The location was great. You could get a cab directly to the door and it is walking distance to Ballygunge train station, a local supermarket, Gariathat and many restaurants and coffee houses. Would highly recommend!

The best place I’ve stayed in over 40 countries. The hosts were a lovely and welcoming family that helped with everything I could need while staying including laundry. I feel I’ve left with new friends! The apartment has everything you need for a super comfortable stay with reliable and fast internet, netflix on TV and a comfy bed. Rooms were spacious and airy. Location was too good with every small needs of my family fulfilled. Property was damn clean and interior was very pleasant. The staff behaviour deserves special mention, particulary Manager Dipak Sharma and caretaker Joydeb. Check-in and early morning check-out was very smooth. Full marks! Strongly recommended.

Lovely old building, old Calcutta vibe. Worth spending a bit more for the superior double room, more spacious with marble floors and bathroom. Breezy, comfortable verandah. Entrance, staircase and lift give a tragic first impression but it’s nice once you’re inside. Basanti, resident dog, was a bonus (for me). Great location, restaurant downstairs, Camac St and shops around the corner. Staff kind and helpful. Good wifi.
