Beautiful location with the most wonderful host. I was traveling with family and older parents. The house had ample space for all of us. The locations provided good morning walk and stream near by was nice touch. The home food provided for breakfast and rest of the meals are a must try for people visiting thoppil homestay. I would recommend skip the commercialized restaurant and give home cooked a try. Owner family is very warm and kind which makes the stay even more welcoming.

Everything was great, would really recommend staying here. It's a lovely location and Prakash and his family have everything sorted. They sorted our activities (trekking through tea plantations / spice plantations, Jeep safari to national park and view points, tea factory visit). Prakash organised our onward travel to vagamon and was really helpful despite the tricky location of the next hotel. Breakfast was really tasty, the facilities are everything you need, and the view is good. A short walk into the local town area and there are some good restaurants. We were recommended prakrithi restaurant which was a 10 min walk /2min tuktuk and we liked it so much we went back 4 times! Overall I would stay at blue mist again if I was in the area and would recommend it to other travellers.

We stayed at Beyond Eco Resort for just one night between Munnar and Athirapally, but in those 24 hours we left feeling like family. The kindness and courtesy of Ashiq were truly remarkable. He explained that the chef was on a well‑deserved day off after a busy period, and with only us staying that night, he decided to host an open cooking session. What unfolded was a step‑by‑step cooking class right in front of us. As a chef from the UK, I found this to be an unforgettable experience, and my partner Beverley—who isn’t the strongest cook—eagerly jotted down every instruction to try at home. Watching Ashiq cook with such passion and generosity was magical, and the chicken curry he prepared was simply delicious—rich, aromatic, and full of flavour, the kind of dish that lingers in your memory long after the meal is over. The following morning, Ajith took us on a hike through the surrounding hills, joined by the resident dog. The trek was challenging but rewarding, and reaching the top to see the sweeping views across this magical landscape was another highlight of our stay. In just one day, it felt as though we had been here for a week, thanks to the personal care and attention we received. For anyone seeking a truly relaxing stay between Kochi and Munnar, I cannot recommend Beyond Eco Resort highly enough. The scenery, the bird watching, and above all the hospitality made this a stay we will never forget.

We loved our stay at Grace Inn. Vinu and his family welcomed us into his home, helped us to organise tuktuk and trekking tours, cooked for us, and even drove us into town so that we could get a massage. The room was clean and tidy, with towels, toothpaste and body lotion etc provided which was a nice extra touch. Access onto the balcony meant we enjoyed a sunset on our final night!!! Of course the highlight would be hanging out with little Maverick and having dinners with the other guests. Thanks Vinu and family, we will definitely recommend to family and friends and hopefully we see you again sometime 👍

I'm so glad I changed one of my other bookings to stay at Elephant Passage. I travelled here with my family (including my pet cat) and we were treated so well here. My top 5 pick of things my family and I absolutely loved: 1. Pet friendly 2. Breakfast options 3. Cottage rooms with ample space and balcony 4. Complimentary activities including tea and bonfire 5. Amenities - Spa, Pool to plunge in with a view and games room!

this property is located at quite place close to the the river side and importantly away from the traffic. Rooms are very clean and spacious with lots of spaces outside as well. Pet friendly Homestay. Food was awesome and served with happy face (we felt like we went to our friends / relatives house). l love the entire family members for their affection showed to us during the stay. you won’t miss lovely dog called Bunto - cute boy 😀 Thank you and we are planning to visit and stay for your gesture & food 🍱

Everything, it is a homestay in one word, you feel at home. Exceptional hospitality, highly recommended, especially if you are travelling with little kids. They will cook anything for your kid (even if they don't know, they will get it done). The food is also really good. It is a calm and quiet location, let you refresh from busy life. And icing on the cake is the pet dog Buto, such a sweet guy.
