Lovely apartment in a gorgeous location close to lake Orta. The apartment has everything you are likely to need and would certainly allow you self cater. However there are two restaurants very close by too; we can recommend Berimbao along the main road. Well located to access lakes Orta and Maggiore.

This is a really nice hotel in a very picturesque location and it is not so touristy as some of the other Italian lakes. Everything was superb and made for a lovely break on our road trip, unfortunately it was only 2 nights . I would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Staff were wonderful before and during our stay. Good communication and very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. Fresh and locally sourced where possible. A delightful, tranquil location interrupted only by chimes from the bells from the local church (stops at night!), birdsong and cuckoo calls. Gignese has bars, cafes and restaurants and is within walking distance. Stresa with its lakeside promenades, shops and many restaurants is 15-20 minute drive away.

    We much preferred this hotel to L’Approdo where we last stayed when we visited Orta. We were here as a large group celebrating a 70th birthday, ages ranged from 7-70. The location is really fantastic and rooms comfortable. The Lunch menu and food was excellent- we ate there several times. Considering the location I think the hotel is really good value for money. We all had a very enjoyable time.

    The location is very well, really close to the center of Pettenasco and the lake, and also to Orta San Giulio by car.     Fantastic place. Super friendly owner, very relaxed and relaxing, accommodating. The location is fantastic (our second time at Pettanasco, but first time at this residence). Convenient shopping, cafe down the street, beaches, the beach and garden were fabulous. We really, really enjoyed our stay.
