The host, Eugene, is an incredibly friendly guy. He lives on the premisses with his family, which gives it a very welcoming and homey feeling. The location was very central, especially when you rent a scooter. The room was super clean, nice shower with good water pressure. The bed was a bit harder than we prefer, but it was comfortable enough. The garden adjecent to lodges is beautiful and Eugene loves to tell about all the plants. The breakfast was amazing, with a delicious French quality croissant, fruit platter and great coffee :)

Very friendly and helpful hosts. We received a lot of helpful Information on nearby activities, useful apps and how to make the best of our travel. We rented a scooter directly at the door steps for three days. This independent roaming was so much fun, we decided to stay longer at the Mabuhay Guesthouse. Ecologically the separation of waste material needs positive mentioning and the refilling of water bottles.

We loved our stay at Cambodhi guesthouse! Our room was super cozy with the most comfortable bed, balcony and beautiful details and colour concept. The vegan food was extraordinary delicious! As we fell in love with Kampot and the guesthouse we almost stayed for two weeks and could try almost everything from the menu and we loved it all! We‘re already missing the hearty breakfast and the peanut butter smoothie. :) But besides the room and food the heart and soul of the guesthouse are Tola & Patrick! They helped us with every question or request we had, gave us lovely recommendations for Kampot and we had wonderful and deep talks with them on the beautiful rooftop terrace. They are two beautiful souls that will do everything to make your stay perfect. We can truly say that we came as guests and left as friends. We can highly recommend to stay at Cambodhi guesthouse, as it will feel more like a home away from home. Thank you so much for everything! 💙 P.S. For everyone who‘s concerned if it’s too far from the „city center“. It’s quite easy to rent a motorbike, bicycle or you can catch a grab for really small money. So no need to worry. We even walked a couple of times. Took us only around 10 min. :)

We had a great stay at Camping Kampot! This lovely green campsite, nestled in the peaceful hills outside the city, is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Kampot. Though it’s a little out of town, it’s easily reached by tuk-tuk — and well worth the short ride. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed, surrounded by nature, making it a great place to unwind. The owner is incredibly friendly, helpful, and flexible — always around with a smile and ready to assist with anything you need. One of the highlights? The natural swimming pond! There’s nothing better than jumping in for a refreshing dip during or after a hot day. If you're looking for tranquility and a taste of nature just outside the city, Camping Kampot is an absolute gem!

Very nice and spacious boutique hotel, with great pool to enjoy after the trips. Breakfast was very good and with good variety of food and drinks. Special thanks to manager Ampor, she helped us book the daily tours, tuktuk rides to the town and also taxi driver for last day. Thanks again for a great stay at your hotel.

Karma Traders was the BEST and most favourite place we stayed in Cambodia! The staff here are amazing from the cleaners, cooks, reception and has to have the best manager and bar staff - also Peach the dog and Percy the cat! We stayed in a private room which was spacious, beds were so comfy, clean bathrooms and hot showers. Nice and quiet location but close enough into town and everything you need. Great social nights and the tastiest food both western and local all reasonable prices with great happy hours every night!

We loved everything about our stay! The staff and owners were fantastic, friendly and hospitable. We felt so welcomed and extremely well looked after. The bed was super comfy and the location was absolutely fabulous being on the river with access to kayaks and a huge paddle board! The doggies were gorgeous and friendly and the food was delicious. The staff were so kind and helpful and helped us rent a scooter to use during our stay.
