What a wonderful place and a great adventure. We love the location, the little house is super clean, no mosquitoes and the best natural swimming pool. The food is amazing and the owners very sweet and helpful. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed it to the moon and back. Highly recommended. Also the organized guided tours delivered more than we could hope for.

Very comfy room. Good WiFi which is rare in Sri Lanka. Host is a forest guide so he can set the tour up for you including pick up and drop off. Breakfast is a good size.Tuk Tuk from Deniyaya bus station 2000 LKR

Absolutely in love with the place and the hospitality. We loved this spot. The cottage is great. The bed was very big and comfy. The river view of front balcony is lovely.also we enjoyed the hospitality of Buddhika and staf.chf Nihal is very nice guy. Srilankan trickle honey and buffalo curd is amazing. Staying at Sinharaja Tranquil Homestay was an amazing place for resting, chilling and empowering! 🙏🏾 It has its rustic vibe and naturalistic surrounding i🌿🌴🪵⛰️🪴🏡 in the middle of the jungle, about 15 min from the village. That was adorable to wake up every morning with the birds singing 💔. The house has a huge hall, ideal for practicing yoga and beautiful garden for meditation ✨. The breakfast 🥞 was sweet and tasty. A very calm and comfortable staying close to the nature! Recommend it a lot for the ones who want to reconnect with inner self and feel the power of the jungles! 🤞🏾

beautiful location, very peaceful, lovely natural pool, river also runs by the property. The rooms were large and very comfortable,the ceiling fan worked very well,each room had it's own terrace with seating,my room even had a table and chairs to give me the option of eating there if I wanted to.The food was great, even enjoyed a BBQ with a lovely fire nearby, could be a lovely romantic evening had my husband traveled with me. Wonderful place for families or friends, there is a boat with paddles for hours of fun in the river. I spent four nights and it was very hard to leave such a beautiful place.
