Had the most amazing stay, the family was so lovely and beautiful. They gave me amazing Sri Lankan food and tea. The place is very quiet and has a beautiful tea garden out the back, they provide natural home grown tea. At the time of booking, there was only one review of this homestay. So we took a leap of faith - that's how we roll... Wow! Were we rewarded! This is by far the best homestay, and Deva is a superhost! He goes above and beyond to make sure we have everything we could possibly want and need, while his lovely wife Mangu conjures up meals fit for the gods! The room is spacious, clean and comfortable (mosquito-net included). A large bay-window overlooks the tea plantations. At night, the subtle ramblings of an enthusiastic river will guide you into a deep coma, as it did for us. The quaint town is within walking distance and packed with friendly Tamil shopkeepers. We absolutely loved our stay! Everyone should experience their hospitality and homestay for sure. It has been the highlight of our journey so far. Thanks to Deva and his wife Mangu. :-)

Hamantha is a wonderful owner. He will provide you with insights and guide you to the best places! His English is very good which makes it easy to have conversation about any topic. The Homestay has a 20 year old guess book with National Geographic in it. I had my own bathroom and enough privacy. just a tip: make sure to take the 2nd blanket that you are being offered. Sometimes in the night it can get cold.

The location was very convenient. If you were to hike Adam's peak. They prepared vegetarian food for us on request. Food was delicious. They are pricing was reasonable. Highly recommend staying there.
