The space it offered, the staff were lovely and friendly and very helpful. Raj gave us ideas of places to go and visit and explained things very well. The food was also delicious, we ordered dinner too, which was cooked very well and very reasonably priced.

AMAZING STAY. Janaka and his wife are adorable and so hospitable. The place was very peaceful and the views are incredible. Janaka’s wife’s cooking was also nothing short of amazing! Would highly recommend and plan to come back one day in the future!

This place was absolutely breathtaking—truly a dream! The house, designed by the host, was just as stunning. You can immediately tell they have incredible taste. Wow! The hosts were beyond kind and welcoming. They gave us a tour of their garden, and it was nothing short of magical. If you can name a fruit or vegetable, they grow it! Breakfast was a feast—fresh, flavorful, and straight from the garden. Every bite was pure joy! All in all, this stay was unforgettable. Before we left, we each planted a durian tree, and we can’t wait to come back in a few years to see it grow. If you're looking for a special place to stay, this is it!

From the first contact with the owner I understand that our experience in this location will be a pleasant one. But in fact what we received was much more than our expectations !!! First the location is very good, easy to arrive by bus, very clean and well decorated, many commodities around. Shawn is the most amazing person we ever met! He helped us with a lot of advice, showed us around, and helped us to arrive in time to the railway station. He is the perfect person to contact if you need any help !!! Always ready to help and to support support people in need! Finally after just one day, we become family friends! His children are amazing, very sweet and well educated! It was really difficult to leave the place ! If you are a single woman travel, this is the best save place to stay in Kandy !

This villa will fit to those, who want to escape from noisy and crowded places to nature but live in comfort at the same time. The villa is located almost 1-hour drive from Kandy and about 1-hour from Royal Botanic Garden (strongly recommend to visit), you can reach there by Tuk Tuk, watching unbelievable views of mountains when riding at mount serpentines. There is local waterfall nearby you can visit and swim, water is quite warm and there are no tourists. We have enjoined staying at this villa.

Lovely homestay located on the banks of the Mahaweli river. Lovely to be surrounded by nature and watch the numerous birds, monkeys and squirrels that live here. Great outdoor space if you just want to take it easy for a day. Nice and clean room with AC and mosquito net. Warm water and good water pressure. And finally a bathroom with a shower curtain so you’re not constantly getting wet feet when entering the bathroom. Lovely breakfast and upon request dinner can be ordered too. Sweetest hosts who speak English very well and are willing and able to help you plan for outings while staying with them. Very kind and caring for my almost two year old daughter. Highly recommend this place to each and everyone.
