Getting there by private car was a challenge, google maps is simply not accurate. Best way is to contact resort before. The team is outstanding, booked only a day before and they managed to make us feel at home. Will come back for sure

We loved this place. The facilities were perfectly clean and the bed was very confortable. You also have a living room with sofa. The breakfast and the dinner were very good quality meals and very tasty. The staff even served us early so that we could leave for the day, they were very friendly and answering our questions and requests. We felt very welcomed. The owner was not here himself at this moment, however he always made himself present during the whole stay by whatsapp and was able to answer all our questions. He is a wildlife photographer so feel free to ask him if you are also interested in spotting fauna!! You can rent a scooter to the homestay. Thanks to the owner recommandations, we went to Dotalugala to hike a bit, and the view to get there during the scooter ride was magnificent. In a sunny days you can see the mountains. Always propre a raincoat as the weather changes unexpectedly. If you are brave enough, you can drive 3h to visit the village of Meemure, at the end of that same road. Driving there is so beautiful that time flies. It is easy to come from Kandy, go to the bus station and ask for Wegala, the destination is usually Hunnasgiriya or further.

We had an amazing stay at the villa! It’s located within a stunning Victory community , offering both tranquility and beautiful surroundings. The architecture of the villa is impressive and adds to the overall charm. It’s equipped with all the comforts and amenities you could need for a relaxing stay. The chef and caretaker were exceptional — both were attentive, friendly, and ensured that all our needs were met. the host, was very responsive and provided clear answers to all of our questions. We would absolutely love to return in the future!

The breakfast and dinner were very delicious and there was a large selection. Ian is an excellent cook 😀. The room with a window like a triangle was very special, it had a comfortable bed and an extraordinary view. Supun and Ian, who operate the resort, are very friendly and nice hosts. Supun also helped us to see the beautiful nature there, nice ricefields and unfortunately Riverston in mist. We want to return if it's possible

The best hotel we stayed at in Sri Lanka! The people were amazing, the rooms were beautiful, and the food was even better. We also did a hiking tour with the hotel’s guide, which was an incredible experience. We highly recommend staying for at least two days — it takes about two hours to drive up the mountain, and you’ll want a full day to explore the beautiful surroundings. Please go ahead and book — it’s absolutely wonderful!

Sarath and his wife Deepthi are the most delightful hosts. We had a wonderful time staying in their beautiful home in the jungle. We had a steam massage (highly recommended) and Sarath took us for walks around his spice plantation. It’s a beautiful place to unwind and chill, and you are looked after so well. Deepthi’s cooking is amazing. Wish we could have stayed longer!
