I would recommend this place to everyone! The host was so incredibly hospitable and sweet. She helped us with the elephant trip, cooked us an amazing dinner and breakfast and was just all around incredibly accommodating. She even let us stay a little while longer to freshen up and prepare for the next leg of our journey, after we came back from half a day in Anudharapura. You really see that she loves hosting and it shows in everything she does for her guests.

The Shakshuka breakfast was delicious, also the pasta dinner ~ as good as in Italy. Bed so comfortable, setting very peaceful. Pool was perfect for cooling down in the middle of the day and I loved watching monkeys swing through the trees while reading on a pool lounger. The owner arranged a jeep safari for me at local Eco Park ~ it was awesome to see elephants up so close!

The host Kalahara is kind and helpful and treats guests as his family.Nothing is too much for him. PROPERTY: Lovely homestay surrounded by trees and lovely garden.The room was spotlessly clean, spacious and airy. All the facilities like hot water, airconditioning, water pressure etc was perfect. BREAKFAST:Our breakfast was included and it was the best we had in Srilanka.Its varied everyday and its plentiful and very tasty.(SEE PHOTOS) We had 2 dinners cooked by his wife and they were delicious and generous portions. TOURS: Host Kalhara will organize tours at reasonable rate and his driver is a very nice person. we did a tour and driver was very patient and took us around paddy fields. Perfect experience! Jeewa is an amazing person and his whole family is really lovely. The rooms are brand new, the AC unit was in perfect condition. Everything is clean and I had an amazing sleep. It's a really nice feeling to support a family like them, they put their heart into this project. Don't hesitate to book here! Also Jeewa can organize safari trips and a whole bunch of activities, I even got a free ride in his tuktuk! Thanks Jeewa for an amazing stay!

The property has an amazing location with breathtaking views of the Lion Rock. Surangi and her daughter Sadu were very kind and always helpful. We enjoyed our breakfast in the beautiful garden. There are also hammocks to relax and read your book. We also had a dinner there and really enjoyed it. The room is very clean, with aircondition. We had a lovely stay!!
