The hotel and the rooms are so clean, cozy and modern. We couldn't complain about anything! The "mixed" pool is just amazing! Awesome view, sun beds and the hanging chairs were sooo relaxing! Actually, our stay began with a super helpful Ahmet at the reception. I've never seen anywhere in the world such a helpful and kind person! He is so professional! He made our stay way more pleasant. Why? One of the reasons is that later the first day our AC stopped working. Nobody at the reception was able to solve it (for 2 days!) until Ahmet appeared at the reception again. The problem was solved within 15 minutes! Next time we'll come to Muscat, this hotel is definitely a MUST!

From the moment you meet the ever-riendly smiling concierge/checkin/your life in Muscat staff, you will understand why this place is the perfect blend of the relaxed and hospitable Muscat vibe. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Basil's Hostel. As a local, Basil is incredibly knowledgeable about the best places to visit and shares insights into local customs. He goes above and beyond to ensure guests have a fantastic experience and truly enjoy their time in Oman. Additionally, Wifi was good.
