Our stay at this accommodation was absolutely wonderful! The room was beautifully designed, exceptionally comfortable, and had everything we could possibly need. Everything was spotless, and the breathtaking views made our experience even more special—on one side, the endless desert, and on the other, a charming town with palm trees. The outdoor surroundings were just as magical. At night, we could admire a sky full of stars, and there was even the option to enjoy a cozy fire. Walking through the desert was an unforgettable experience. The owner took as for a small desert trip on his car and it was fantastic experience. The owner was an amazing host, taking great care of us and bringing us delicious food. We spent lovely evenings talking about travel, Oman, and culture. He was always ready to help with anything we needed. This place is truly a hidden gem—pure magic!

We treated ourselves to 2 of the 3 incredibly large ‘chalets’ in the desert! We loved the privacy yet constant availability of support. The villas were massive- 2 large bedrooms in each and all with en-suites. Huge living area, own pool to each villa and views front and back of desert and camels! Definitely good value for money. Osawa (may have spelt it wrong) was an amazing host; he got us Omani coffee, a dozen pomegranates when we said we liked them! Then when we realised there was no restaurant/bar he sent for beer for us! He took us on an exhilarating quad bike adventure- definitely a must do and he took fab videos for us. We had a private dinner and dramatic dune bashing experience- also recommend.

Perfect location in the golden sands of the desert. Exciting 4x4 experience on the way to (luckily assisted by the owners) 2 brothers who run this camp are very welcoming and friendly. Delicious food even with vegetarian options and first of all - one of the best beds we were sleeping on! Huge, hight quality mattresses with luxurious linen.

“An unforgettable experience at alsaif Camp! The place is absolutely stunning, combining modern design with traditional Arabian charm. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, fully equipped, and beautifully decorated with a nature-inspired and serene vibe. From the moment we arrived we were treated to Omani hospitality at its very best. The thrill of driving over the sandunes to the camp and on arrival being served with hot/cold beverages along with dates, fruit and nuts. Our host Hammed is a charming man and delighted to give us insight into the traditions and history of desert living but also to melt away and allow us to enjoy our surroundings. Nothing was too much trouble even when on the morning of our departure we had a flat tyre. Everything was sorted for us. The tents were airy, with warm comfortable beds and beautifully decorated in a traditional manner. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and well maintained including the onsite facilities which included a cold! morning shower. As our dinner was prepared we watched the sun set over the sandunes. The food was plentiful (too much to eat), beautifully served and a dazzling array of different dishes served at both breakfast and dinner. After dinner we relaxed by the camp fire stargazing enjoying more tea/coffee, dates fruit and nuts while enjoying the stillness of the desert at night. If you are looking to experience the desert in a romantic, tranquil setting look no further - enjoy

We got transport organised from Muscat to the camp for a very good price. Great people working there, sunset ride and camel ride was great, we were taken care of! We can definitely recommend!

The desert camp is well located to see the extraordinary beautiful sunset. The camp tents are big and comfort to shelter 5-6 people with open sky showering room. Delicious Omani dinner with loads of fruits provided and we specially like the Omani tea and coffee. Camel ride and sunset ride on a 4-wheels car are great experience too.
