Great apartment with a view of the old walled city. The host and his son were unbelievably welcoming and informative about the apartment, the city and the area. My husband and I each had motorcycles and this was our first stop in Portugal. Turns out the owner is also a fellow rider and provided us with so many great places and details for the rest of our journey. I think we went to almost all of them! Space was clean and well organized, wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend a stay here.

The studio is inside the city walls of Obidos. We were a group of 4 travelling with our two kids and they used the sofa bed which had a trundle under it. Its a good size for 2 people, 4 of us found it a bit tight once the sofa bed was pulled out and with our luggage on the floor. Our bed was comfy with good supply of pillows and nice quality bed linen. Using a door code to get inside was great, it meant we could be more flexible with what time we could arrive, a lot of other places throughout our travels in Portugal and Spain hosts had to meet you to hand keys over so we had to give an exact time which is hard to do when traveling and sightseeing. We arrived on a Sunday during a Chocolate festival and the place and carparks were packed. Not sure if it's like that every weekend but we had to park a bit further away. We left our luggage in the car and waited until the crowds left before moving our car in the evening to one of the car parks outside the castle. There was free parking in that particular car park from 8pm -9am all other times require a ticket. For future travellers staying for 1 night, I'd suggest taking a backpack in with your toiletries and clothes instead of a suitcase, pulling along a suitcase with little wheels on the cobblestone paths was quite a task and I think if your suitcase is not good quality, the wheels may get damaged.

The hosts are really nice, very helpful and friendly. We throughly enjoyed our stay, the property is in a great location for exploring the local area and lots to visit within an hours drive. The property is gorgeous, spotlessly clean and comfy. Lovely little terrace area, which we used a lot for some chilled family time. A great pool which was much needed with the very hot weather.

I recently spent 2 nights at Quinta da Foz and cannot speak highly enough about Francisco and his staff. It is a very unique and beautiful place. The grounds are a very peaceful place to spend some time and maybe you'll be lucky enough to meet some of the animals. The living area and bedroom are beautifully furnished. The breakfast is very nice and plentiful. What is clear is how much Francisco loves this place and enjoys sharing it with others. Thank you for this. Fatima and Martha enjoy working there as well. All three of them were warm, kind, caring and supportive to me in a tricky situation for me. I will always remember them for this and hope to return there some day. Thank you so much for a lovely stay at Quinta da Foz, an experience like no other I have had.

This apartment had everything we needed. It was decorated and outfitted so thoughtfully. The back window and garden had such a gorgeous view, I only wish we had better weather to enjoy it. The hosts were so kind and helpful. The location is great; you are close to everything, yet didn't have to navigate through crazy tiny streets. They accepted our dog for a small fee, and he was very happy to enjoy the view out of the window.

Great location. We were able to take our dog. It had everything you could need and was so clean and comfortable. Parking was very close. Very friendly owners who gave us lots of information. If we go back we would stay there again.
