Rio Rancho is stunning and surpassed our expectations. It felt very private despite being part of the host’s home who were appropriately helpful and friendly. We have been coming here once or twice a year for about 15 years. It's our favorite hotel in the world. However, the prices have developed exorbitantly after the Corona period. Whether overnight stay or the restaurant prices have increased by 20-30%. But the little things that used to make it special are missing: a greeting card in the room with for example: Homemade salsa, quality cosmetics, open fire on the patio in front of the bar, etc. The rooms have been redesigned, but the small chest of drawers in the storage area does not correspond to any attractive design, nor is it practical to use next to the suitcases and shoes. The new tile design is certainly a matter of taste, but so much white gives the bathroom the impression of a hospital. I don't want to say in general that everything was better in the past, but we liked some things better.

Noon checkout nice. Pool opened early. Well appointed rooms. Decent value rate. Good breakfast included. Little thing, but I really like the night light in the bathroom, and wish that more places did that (as hotel rooms can be too dark otherwise with all lights out).
