This was a fantastic budget hotel to stay in. Location was great, just inside the city wall. Easy walking to everything. Olya the lady who runs it is lovely, she makes a super breakfast and likes you to eat as she says we need the energy for all the site seeing. She also runs this hotel entirely by herself, I don’t know how she does it.

This kind Khiva family opens their home to you, allowing you to get a better local experience than a hotel ever could. While we did not speak the languages of the other, we were well able to communicate with the help of translators and general kindness. Besides breakfast which each morning had different treats to offer, I ate every dinner here. I very much enjoyed the home cooked meals. The spacious guest rooms are brand new, very clean, and well taken care of. Internet worked well. The guesthouse is one or two rows in the back from the main walkway, making it a quiet and yet central location. Their son reliably drove me to the airport in Urgench for a very reasonable price. I can highly recommend this home stay.

The location is incredible right next to the Kalta Minor Square. The room was lovely, clean and well decorated with a confortable bed. Breakfast in the morning was nice and the hosts were helpful with our laundry and other requests.

The Hotel Nazira Borique is a real gem. Not only is the location absolutely fantastic, as it is right next to the Mohammed Rakhim Khan Madrassah and the old fort. From our room we could see many of Xiva's architectural masterpieces, such as the Kalta Minor Minaret. The rooftop terrace is simply spectacular and offers a great view of the above mentioned sights as well as the other minarets and many highlights of Xiva. And everything is just a few minutes of walking distance away. As a bonus right next to the hotel is a wonderful restaurant with excellent local dishes. Honestly, the location couldn't be better. Plus, the hotel is spotlessly clean and feels very cozy. But the real stars of the show are Ruslan and his family, who are the friendliest and most welcoming people you could wish for in a hotel. They look after you and your well-being like no other. The drivers are also absolute professionals and super nice. All in all, we had a wonderful stay here and missed it as soon as we had to leave. Anyone can stay at a random Hotel like Hilton or Hyatt or any of the other global chains, but this is a real experience.

Excellent location. Very comfortable hotel. Nice breakfast. The owner, Nodir, is super helpful. He is a former multilingual guide and is always available to give you pointers/history elements about Khiva and Uzbekistan. Highly recommended!

It was an oasis in the heat of southern Uzbekistan during the summer, with good AC to help cool down. The gentleman at reception was very polite and helpful, breakfast was superb. Location was great, close enough to the old city but in a much quiter neighborhood.

    Everything! First of all, it's located in a best spot possible. Within 2 minutes walking distance from Old Khiva entrance, you will have super easy access to the historical site. The hotel is well managed, clean and cozy with nice breakfasts incommon dining area, where we met many backpackers like us there. Also, it's a pet friendly accommodation. Last but not least, the room is well equipped and spacious.
