We really enjoyed our stay at Mega View Homestay. The room was clean and comfortable, with very unique interior. The host was very helpful with booking trekking trips, taxi and bus. He also let us store luggage on our last day and take shower even after checking out. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to come back.

A great location just outside of Sa Pa town, the house is so beautiful and cosy and the whole host family are so friendly and welcoming. We loved staying here and wish we could have stayed longer! We had the family meal and it was excellent, loads of veggie dishes. It was cold when we were there and we loved sitting around the fire and meeting other travellers!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hmong Sister House during my trip to Sapa, Vietnam. It was an incredible experience to learn about the Hmong culture and way of life, which is vastly different from my own British culture. One of the highlights of my stay was participating in some of the Hmong activities organized by the homestay. We had the opportunity to learn about traditional Hmong embroidery and even try our hand at it. It was fascinating to see the intricate designs and patterns, and I was impressed by the skill and patience required to create such beautiful pieces. Another activity that stood out was a visit to a local Hmong market. The hustle and bustle of the market, with vendors selling everything from fresh produce to handicrafts, was a stark contrast to the shopping experiences I'm used to in the UK. I loved seeing the vibrant colors and hearing the sounds of bargaining and trading going on all around me. Sstaying at Hmong Sister House allowed me to immerse myself in a culture that is so different from my own. The Hmong people are incredibly hospitable and welcoming, and I feel like I gained a new perspective on life during my time there. While there are certainly differences between the Hmong culture and British culture, I found it refreshing to experience something so new and different. It reminded me of the beauty of diversity and the importance of learning from other cultures.

The staff were fantastic, really took care of us, even got a room upgrade. A young guy that worked there was from one of the villages, he took us on a private trekking tour, it was a great experience. They re-opened about a month ago and really go the extra mile to ensure you have a good stay. Great location with views over the lake.

The serenity of the place is amazing - somewhat separate from the hustle&bustle of the centre which is crowded with hotels, here one sits in a garden with flowers, vegetables (which are also used for dinner), kittens and puppies. The rooms have two floors, upstairs one can enjoy views from the futon on the sky, fog or mountains, depending on the weather. Good drinks and options for dinner.

    The family is very friendly and helpful with anything you need. They have some really cute and friendly dogs and cats on the property. It’s a nice cosy home stay not too far out from town but by a nice rice terrace so you have a beautiful view.

    The house, view, host family, and staff are amazing. I arrived early, and they got my room ready as soon as the previous guest checked out so I could check in early. There are dogs and cats, so you must be animal friendly and better not allergic, but they all are nice and like pets.

    We love the place. Sadly it was hazy during our stay we were not able to watch movie and do the bonfire. The owner was very helpful arranging the pick up from the bus station. The place is 30 mins away from Sapa town. He also helped us arrange our tour around Sa Pa. We love his cat “Lux” and dog “Tot” those pets really touched our heart. They have fast internet as well so was able to work during our stay. 😊
