Large room with balcony, comfortable and very clean. Great staff, welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and able to eat on sunny veranda. Restaurant not open every day but the meal we had on Wednesday night was first class. Menu again had lots of choice and it was amazing food. Compliments to the chef. Private bathing area by the lake, beach towel and bag supplied. E-bikes to hire for day. A great hotel with lots of personal touches to make for a fantastic stay. Highly recommend

Very nice location, beautiful view, super friendly staff on a wonderful farm house! You can have fresh bread for your morning coffee every day and buy goat cheese from the farm. House is very warm in winter months, very good wifi, comfy beds and bathroom, kitchen has everything one need for cooking. Highly recommended!

Free WiFi is available. This property made it hard to leave Attersee. I adored the staff as well as the property. The parking is free, located in the front of the property. The bikes available for borrowing were a nice addition, too. If you prefer E-bikes, I would recommend renting them in the village. The breakfast was amazing, and I enjoyed having an assigned seat, I recommend the dinner, there is no need to go anywhere, as the staff provide a 4-course meal and one night, the Austrian buffet was great after hiking 30km. The property is kind to dogs, and there's a great walking path nearby. The room was spacious, with a spa shower and a beautiful terrace, overlooking the forest behind. I will forever adore the Attersee.

The hotel is beautifully located on the eastern shore of Lake Attersee, offering breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. It’s a peaceful and picturesque setting that immediately makes you feel relaxed. The hotel itself is charming, clean, and very well maintained. Our room was comfortable and cozy, and waking up to the stunning natural scenery each morning was a highlight. We especially enjoyed taking early morning walks in the beautiful areas around the hotel — such a peaceful way to start the day. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. Their warm hospitality really added to the experience. Breakfast was fresh and tasty each morning, with a nice variety of options. We particularly appreciated the freshly baked bread made by the staff, which added a personal touch. Dinner was also very good, offering a great selection of Austrian dishes in a cozy and traditional atmosphere. The location is ideal for exploring the Salzkammergut region, with plenty of activities nearby — from hiking and swimming to visiting nearby towns like Bad Ischl and Gmunden. Overall, we loved every minute of our stay and would absolutely return. Gasthof Steinbichler is a place we’ll remember fondly and will definitely be our first choice next time we’re in the area. Highly recommended!

Everything well, beyond our expectations. First of all , the view from our balcony was amazing. The room was a good size and beds comfy. The staff was was very friendly and the breakfast on the terrace overlooking the lake was absolutely the best!
