Rooms are well furnished, very clean and extremely comfortable. The staff were available on WhatsApp for anything. There is a vary good laundryvroom and baggage storage which isnt well signposted but it's really helpful to know about. Great location. Conveniently placed by the new town with a short walk to both the train station and the old town. As an added bonus, the soap smelled amazing.

Family-run since 1654, Hotel-Gasthof Maria Plain enjoys a quiet location surrounded by meadows and forests, only 250 metres from the pilgrimage church of Maria Plain and a 10-minute drive from Salzburg. Free WiFi is available. The hotel is located in a wonderful place with nice views around and Maria Plain church nearby. Fantastic place where to stay for a couple of nights and enjoy the surroundings.

We would definitely opt for the specific apartment if we ever visited Salzburg again in the future. Some extra tip for enjoying delicious breakfast: the Quartier café just across the apartment is an excellent choice to start your day.
