It is right in the middle of the rainforest and everything felt really thoughtful - kind of like the old days of Airbnb! The wraparound deck was beautiful, and there are so many places to sit, hang out, and take in the nature. There were lots of great touches - a basket full of insect stuff, toiletries, cooking bits, towels left out for the outdoor bath, washing supplies, record player, games, books about the birds, binoculars; the list could go on! Ray was a pleasure to communicate with. Getting in was super easy, and the location is good for getting around the Daintree along the main roads. When I am back in grey London I will try and transport myself back here!

There were butterflies everywhere in the gardens. You could hear a nearby creek and birds all the time.it was so special. Close to Daintree Observatory. Easy drive to Cape Tribulation. No wifi and generally no phone reception.

This is a quaint house set on a beautiful property. The house is quite spacious. Two bedrooms, large kitchen-dining area. Comfortable beds. Laundry-washing machine. You need to bring your own detergent. It is not hooked up to warm water, so only cold water wash which you have to program. No dryer-but there is a drying rack and a clothesline with clothespins in the garden. Nice big garden with furniture to sit outside front and back. There is also an outdoor dining table and a BBQ. No shampoo is provided. Shower has good water pressure. In the kitchen-toaster, kettle, panini press, pots and pans, etc. A dishwasher with soap provided. We enjoyed our stay here. Very quiet and peaceful. There is a pub down the road with some of the best French fries I have ever had. There is No WIFI.

Το Villa Zena είναι μια παραθεριστική βίλα αποικιακού στιλ στην καρδιά της παρθένας κοιλάδας Cape Tribulation. Το Villa περιβάλλεται από έναν υπέροχο κήπο και έναν τροπικό οπωρώνα. I liked the initial communication with the owner, everything was fully explained regarding access and facilities, surrounding activities and directions to the property etc. we were allowed to check in early which was brilliant as it gave us a whole day to unload the van and settle in. There were further texts to make sure we arrived safely, and apart from some annoying delays due to roadworks on the way it was a lovely drive. The property itself was a tranquil peaceful hideaway yet still close to the town and beach, we only went to the beach once as it was so lovely just sitting on the verandah overlooking the gardens and wandering around exploring the grounds. The sound of the birds and frogs and insects during the day and at night added to the enjoyment. The Villa was extremely well set up and every thing we could require for cooking was provided. WiFi was very strong no idea about the TV as we never used it due to having so much else to look at outside. The night walk was awesome it added a new dimension to the garden and pond and we even saw fireflies which gave the garden a magic touch. We slept so well each night, serenaded to sleep by natures chorus and our minds divesting all the work stress and other rubbish. The Villa was perfect and exactly as advertised and shown in the pictures.

Το Ferntree Rainforest Lodge βρίσκεται στο Cape Tribulation και προσφέρει θέα στον κήπο, εστιατόριο, τουριστικό γραφείο, μπαρ, κήπο, εξωτερική πισίνα που λειτουργεί όλο το χρόνο και βεράντα. we loved this place! it was so pretty. pool was nice. Food was good.
