Daisy was so welcoming and accommodating, especially as we had to change our plans at last minute and amend our booking. Daisy offered to book a boat to our next stop and help with accommodation too. The room was very clean and comfortable with a nice terrace space with a hammock to relax. The meals delicious and prepared with love.

Some units feature a balcony and/or a patio with sea views. Utterly utterly basic. Barefoot luxury without the luxury. The wooden planks which make the walls of the huts have spaces between them for ventilation. Nothing in the room except a bed (and mosquito net), a shelf and a table. Hammocks on the verandah and the sea is right there - wonderful. You get there by small boat (with outboard motor) from Nuqui - the tourist jetty is a short walk from the airport and the people where you pay your airport tax made sure we were passed into the care of someone who saw us onto the right boat. It took 50 minutes. Wear shorts - there is no jetty and you disembark by stepping off into the water. The kitchen/dining area has a low concrete wall around it and a tin roof. The food is simple but we thought it was delicious (lots of fish - ceviche, stew and grilled). The staff are lovely - friendly and helpful, and take care to speak simple Spanish to help us understand. We enjoyed whale watching from a small boat. All very simple and undeveloped. A perfect place for blissful downtime and going to sleep to the sound of the waves. Utterly utterly wonderful!

This pet-friendly guest house also has free WiFi. Beautiful spot, secluded but not to far from town. Staff are so lovely 10/10. They made us breakfast really early due to our boat. Very hospitable. Lemonade on arrival was a bonus. Clean room, lots of space. Bed was comfortable. Out door shower was really nice!

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. I really loved my stay at the Humpback as I have stayed there for 3 weeks ! The atmosphere is super chill and it’s an awesome place to relax, especially in the hostel’s hamacs or directly on the beach as it’s the only hostel that’s actually located on the beach. It’s also a great place to meet other backpackers as well as the locals who always hang out there. Overall I 100% recommend the Humpback !

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Our stay at Posada Noře was unmatched. The generous hospitality of Profe Hernando and Doña Nore was incredible. We spent many hours with our hosts being shown around, cooked for, and transported to different places on their boat. It felt like a very authentic and local experience and we were able to learn a lot about the people, history and culture of Arusí. The posada was beautifully set up and very comfortable. Thank you for an unforgettable experience.
