We had a wonderful time at Coconuco Beach Resort. It is a quiet oasis just 10 minutes walking distance outside of buzzing Palomino. We really had a great and relaxing time. The rooms are very clean, the premises are well looked after and the staff went out of their way to make this stay a 10/10.

There is even a co-working area where you can sit to work with a view. - The location is better than others that are on the main street because you don't get the dust from the road or the noise from the street. - Peaceful and very relaxing place. Good swimming pool. - each bed has its own fan and mosquito net. - The staff was amazing, they make you feel welcome and give you tips about things to do. In reception Adri and Enrique and the night staff were really night. IMPORTANT: After doing your booking you will receive a message to confirm your booking by paying 50%+a small car tip. This NOT a scam,i checked with booking. AND if you think you are arriving late,after 6pm tell them!! There are different rules in Colombia and they can put your room as no show if you don't confirm on the day or before that you are arriving late. Totally, worth staying here!

Reception was extremely attentive and answered every question we had in a timely and professional manner. People sometimes forget that the front desk isn’t their personal concierge, yet the staff still went above and beyond for us. Their patience and responsiveness made a huge difference in the quality of our stay. The restaurant exceeded our expectations — the food was truly top-notch. Fresh, flavorful, and easily some of the best meals we had during our time in Colombia. We also loved the presence of the rescued pups roaming the property. They added a warm, authentic charm to the environment and made the place feel even more welcoming.

This was the ideal base for exploring La Guajira—from Cabo de la Vela to the salt flats of Manaure. Whether you're here to relax or to adventure, this spot is a perfect launchpad. I’ll definitely be back!

Το Aiwa Hotel έχει εξωτερική πισίνα, κήπο, ιδιωτική παραλία και βεράντα, στον προορισμό Mayapo. Αυτό το κατάλυμα προσφέρει στους επισκέπτες εστιατόριο, αλλά και υπηρεσία δωματίου. I think the best part was reaching the hotel, driving through the desert to the beach was a real adventure, it was fun. The hotel is nice, there are just few rooms so not many guests around, no music besides the swimming pool area which is really nice and far away from the rooms so there are no noises. The hotel has a Tulum style decoration, open air shower in the bathroom so you can get a shower looking at the moon. The beach is really nice, huge with enough beds for everybody. If you're seeking a quiet and private space away from noisy guests, this is the place. Staff was really nice and the owner too. I suggest to buy food and beverage before, as the restaurant closes at 8.last but not least, ac was working perfectly.

I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for true relaxation, an escape from the noise, and immersion in nature. 1. Common Areas: Every detail feels crafted with a love for nature, designed to provide visitors with the ultimate relaxation experience. From serene meditation spaces and hammocks perfect for afternoon naps to plenty of sun loungers right by the sea and games for evenings of fun, every corner invites tranquility. We loved it! 2. Rooms: We stayed in Colmena No. 2, and it was perfect for two people. Cozy, spotless, and pristine, with a perfectly clean bathroom and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. 3. Food: Simply outstanding! The flavors were amazing!!! and authentic, the very best of Caribbean cuisine. And to top it all, Señora Merlis, with her warmth and kindness, made every dish taste even better.
