We actually had car troubles the next day and the front desk staff person was very helpful arranging for a tow truck. Room was very clean, and the bed was very comfy. Best part was, the hotel was so quiet - we could not hear anyone else, and it was so peaceful. Breakfast the next morning was excellent.

Loved the location, right in the centre of the historic town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a great size, the bathroom was huge. The bed was reasonably comfortable. Loved the decor. The breakfast area was superb. The breakfast was adequate but not a lot of variety unfortunately but still nice. Parking for the car was close enough to the hotel and we were able to unload luggage outside before moving it. I would highly recommend this accommodation and if I'm lucky enough to visit again I would stay here.

Hotel Maximilian’s is a historic hotel located in the heart of Augsburg, a 10-minute walk from the Fuggerei Museum. It features elegant rooms and suites and a restaurant with show kitchen. - best location in town - staff were professional - breakfast was delicious - lobby looked great - the paintings are a treat to look at in the whole premises - loved the room - tv was to my liking - the fridge was cold - usually service or orders even if they were simple get charged on departure I asked for ice which was delivered for free to my room

A stunning hotel - old, beautiful and exceptionally well looked after. Spotlessly clean, excellent rooms, loved our stay. The staff were lovely too - very helpful, super friendly, and even though I speak a good amount of German they were always happy to speak in English so my wife could interact easily.
