Rustic House Punta Rucia ligt op een paar minuten lopen van Playa de Punta Rucia, en biedt accommodatie in Punta Rucia met toegang tot een restaurant, een bar, en roomservice. The whole apartment is located on top of the restaurant. An excellent Dominican or Continental breakfast is served at the restaurant. The apartment is enormous and fits big groups. The AC works pretty well, so you are never feeling the extreme heat, especially at night. They offer a tour to Cayo Arena which I recommend because it is for your group only, making it a private experience. Overall, our whole group was more than satisfied with Robert and his team's service during our stay.

Garden By The Sea in Sosúa biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op het zwembad, een buitenzwembad, een tuin, een gedeelde lounge, een terras en een bar. The hotel itself is not very big, so it felt like I was visiting a friend in the suburbs: it’s very quiet and you literally live in the garden, full of trees, flowers and birds. I was there in off season, so I was the only guest and I had the pool to my own. The room was super cozy and comfortable, I had everything I needed. I liked Nikki’s attention to details everywhere around the property: starting with styling of the room and ending with beach stuff available for you (like umbrellas, beach fridge, etc). Breakfasts were simple but very delicious. There’s a kitchen outdoors with BBQ facilities. The whole property is behind the barrier and the territory felt very safe, there are also several parking spots at the property. Each room has its own internet router, and the quality was pretty good. At first I couldn’t find a way to the beach, so ask for directions in advance, but when I finally got there, I could see why people were saying about semi-private beach in reviews: not very big, quite clean, no restaurants or sunbeds (although might be because I was in off season there). Bella-the-dog was accompanying me to the beach and guarding me there all the time :) there are also three very cuddly kitties on the territory :) Overall I liked the place very much, Nikki is super nice and helpful, it felt like home. I will definitely recommend this place and stay there again if I’m back to the country.

B&B Pavillion in Sosúa biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de tuin, een buitenzwembad, een tuin, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. The host was very nice, and would prepare delicious breakfast at any time we wanted in the morning. Her house is beautiful and spacious with a big swimming pool.

Dit hotel in haciënda-stijl ligt op loopafstand van de mooie baai en het prachtige strand van Sosua, maar ook restaurants en uitgaansgelegenheden bevinden zich in de buurt. De kamer was schoon, een groot bed, fijne douche en airco. Prima ontbijt om uit te kiezen van de kaart. En heel vriendelijk personeel.

Increíble ático de lujo con impresionantes vistas bevindt zich in Puerto Plata, op 7,4 km van Fortaleza San Felipe, en biedt accommodatie met een terras, gratis WiFi, een gratis shuttleservice, en... The apartments turned out to be even better than in the photo: stylish, clean, with new appliances. I was especially pleased with the view from the balcony and the fast Internet, so I could work in peace. Excellent combination of price and quality.

Casa Ola & Surf in Puerto Plata is gelegen op 2,5 km van Long Beach en biedt accommodatie met airconditioning, gratis WiFi, en toegang tot een terras. We had an amazing stay. The room is even nicer in person than in the photos, especially the big windows and the cozy balcony, which we absolutely loved. Everything felt bright and spotless. We also really enjoyed the beautiful plants in the common area; they give the whole place such a relaxing, welcoming atmosphere. The location is perfect, very central, and you can walk to everything you need. Shops, restaurants, and the beach are all just a short stroll away. Puerto Plata's historic center is a 10-minute walk. Fortaleza de San Felipe is a 6-minute drive. The Pier is a 9 minute walk. Acapulco beach is 12 minute walk away. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
