The inn offers a tour of the waterfalls and hot springs located 5 km away. Baños’ town centre is a 3-minute walk away, while Cotopaxi International Airport is a 1-hour drive away. The location was excellent. The hosteria is on a hillside, offering a beautiful mountain view across the town and the valley. At the same time the location is also central, only 10 minutes by foot from the main square and 12 minutes from the bus station (Terminal Terrestre). Our room was clean and comfortable, with two queen beds with four(!) soft pillows. The bathroom had hot water for showering. Normally the room is cleaned every day (they ask if you wish that they do). The breakfast was very good. It consisted of eggs, bread rolls, butter and marmalade with juice and coffee - which is what you normally get for breakfast in Ecuador. But the juice was different every day, the croissants were served warm (not every day, though) and the eggs were prepared in a different way. This is actually a big deal if you've been traveling for a long time. We had established a contact with the hosteria in WhatsApp before arrival and received all possible information regarding our stay in advance. Someone was around and available 24/7, opening the gate and supporting the clients with information about activities etc. We had our laundry done for a very small amount of money that was less than in public laundries. We did not speak Spanish, so were happy to find that the staff spoke varying levels of English. You get a great value for the money you pay.

First of all we were able to checkin earlier without any problem because of our night bus. The room is huge and very clean and they provide water, coffee and tea. The location is perfect in the city center and the price for what you get is amazing, that’s why we extended our stay over and over again.

The location is quiet and safe with a great view on the peak of the vulcano. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We will definetly return.

The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, a 24-hour front desk and currency exchange for guests. I had an excellent stay here. The beds are comfortable. The dorms are always clean. The staff are super nice and helpful and give you all the info you need about tours and activities. They have 2 fully equipped kitchen areas with hot chocolate, tea, coffee and water. Finca Chamanapamba Guest House has a stunning rural location, boasting an onsite waterfalls, just 4 km from Baños town centre. It offers spectacular mountain views, tropical gardens with BBQ facilities and charming wooden bungalows. The hosts were so nice, helpful and accommodating. Anything I asked for, they were able to help make happen.

Super kind and very helpful. The hotel is in a great location. I stayed in one of the suites and the suites are beautiful, large and have all the amenities you could ask for. Favorite place i have stayed in Ecuador. I will return.

Wonderful peaceful property. The owners are really nice and make a good breakfast. Have lots of information on local activities and set me up with a great mountain guide for Tungurahua and Chimbo. The walk to the property is very easy, a little uphill.
