Located on a serene island, you’re surrounded by lush greenery and breathtaking views of the river. We stayed in a river view room, with a farm right in front of our window. Waking up to the view in the morning was truly a gift. The rooms are a beautiful homage to local Nubian heritage, with charming architectural and design touches that make you feel like you're staying in a traditional Nubian home. Yet, you also have all the comforts of a clean, well maintained air-conditioned room, which was such a perfect balance. The owner goes above and beyond to ensure that guests experience the local culture in an authentic way. It’s perfect for travelers who want to embrace the slow life and connect with the area’s heritage. He was incredibly helpful, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout our stay. Even before we arrived, he kept in touch and responded promptly to any questions we had about our booking or itinerary. He even provided us with an incredibly detailed and helpful list of dos and don’ts, along with travel suggestions for Luxor, Cairo, and Aswan! There are many activities and day trips to historical sights provided by the hotel as well, and we always felt like we were in good hands here. As a passionate traveler himself, you can tell he truly cares about giving his guests an unforgettable, authentic experience. One of the highlights of our stay was taking a refreshing dip in the Nile. It was incredibly relaxing, after a busy week full of walking around and traveling. Our favorite part of the stay was meeting the warm and welcoming locals. The owner took us to a local village on another island, where we had the chance to see traditional Nubian houses. The local kids were playing and running around outside, and it was a truly heartwarming experience to interact with them. They also have an adorable dog, Zazu, who will greet you with endless love and affection the moment you arrive! We already miss him so much!!

Nebro Nubian Guest House - Adults Only bevindt zich in Aswan, op 18 km van Aga Khan Mausoleum en 11 km van Nubisch Museum, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi, airconditioning, een terras en een... De gastheer van het guesthouse was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Als je iets nodig had regelde hij het meteen. Het hotel is nieuw en is zeer sfeervol ingericht. De kamers zijn ruim en mooi ingericht. De badkamer heeft een uitstekende douche en we kregen een geweldig ontbijt geserveerd.

Dolty Kato Nubian House By Kato Dool heeft een terras, en biedt kamers in Aswan, 18 km van Aga Khan Mausoleum en 11 km van Nubisch Museum. Het was schoon, we werden fijn opgehaald op het vliegveld, personeel was heel erg vriendelijk en het eten was heerlijk. Airco deed het ook goed de activiteiten is goed geregeld en de service is waar ze er echt uitspringen tegenover andere hotels.

Nuba Heart heeft gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en biedt uitzicht op de tuin in Aswan. We stayed at Nuba Heart as a family with two children and had an amazing experience. The accommodation was spacious and quiet, with two large bedrooms. It's ideally located—just a short walk from the ferry (only 10 EGP per person), and close to the train station and the local bazaar. From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth. A taxi was waiting for us at the airport, and Thameer organized all our tours and even our transfer to our next accommodation in Luxor, all at very good prices. He was always available and ready to help with anything we needed. We enjoyed delicious breakfast and lovely rooftop dinners with a great view. The Nubian village around the guesthouse is full of charm and becomes very lively at night. The locals are warm and welcoming, and the whole atmosphere made us feel right at home. Highly recommended, especially for families looking for an authentic experience and excellent hospitality. Our children loved it.

ABU Nubian Guest House bevindt zich in Aswan, op 23 km van Aga Khan Mausoleum en 600 meter van Nubisch Museum, en heeft een tuin en een terras, en gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. We stayed for one night at ABU Guest House, and I regret not having stayed there every night we were in Aswan. Mr. Abu was extremely welcoming, the rooms are super comfortable, well-decorated, and very, very clean. He even ofered us a bigger room for free. The dinner and breakfast prepared by Mr. Abu's wife were the most delicious we had in Egypt. He also took us on a boat ride around Elephantine Island, showing and explaining everything. At the end, he also offered us a massage session... very relaxing! In short, it was truly a pleasure to have stayed at ABU Guest House. If I could rate them more I would because they really deserve

Hooly nubian is gelegen in Aswan, op 22 km van Aga Khan Mausoleum, en biedt versneld in- en uitchecken, allergievrije kamers, een terras, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en skiën tot aan de deur. The view is totally worth the price.

Artika Wadi Kiki Hotel heeft een restaurant en accommodatie met een tuin, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. Aga Khan Mausoleum ligt op 18 km. Er is gratis WiFi. Het hotel ziet op een super leuke locatie, de vrolijke kleuren zorgen voor een hele fijne indruk. Wij moesten het laatste stuk uit de bus overstappen in tuktuks omdat de weg voor de bus moeilijk begaanbaar was. Dit was geen enkel probleem, wel vreemd dat wij de tuktuk's zelf moesten betalen, maar gezien de kosten (€ 2 ) geen probleem. Wij zaten in het oude gedeelte met de kamers (prima volledige kamers rustig gelegen aan het water) het ontbijt en avondeten is in het nieuwe gedeelte. Het personeel is enorm vriendelijk, Bij het avondeten kregen we ook nog een nubian show. Heel leuk om mee te maken.

Jamaica Guest House ligt in Aswan, op 24 km van Aga Khan Mausoleum, en biedt een terras, rookvrije kamers, gratis WiFi en een bar. Esra was super nice. Waited for us to arrive at 11pm, gave us a room upgrade and prepared a breakfast box for our Abu Simbel trip. We had a lovely dinner on the rooftop as well. Room was quite big and the location is fantastic, so close to the ferry.
