Staff at the 24-hour front desk speak Catalan, English, Spanish and French. We had a great stay. Opted for the largest room while booking, the room size was generous, with plenty of space. The sunrise views from the balcony were the highlight of our stay. The room was clean, comfortable bed, a nice sofa. One small complaint is the bathroom floor is slippery when wet. Be careful. I had a few close calls... Breakfast was nice, with plenty of options in buffet and ala carte. Friendly staff, helpful. Parking is paid, but secured by locked fence door and cameras.

Providing private parking, the guest house is 37 km from Water World. The guest house features family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. Great location, clean and newly furbished hotel.

Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options can also be requested. We both thought this was a perfect hotel, and the best we’ve ever stayed in

Mas Pere Pau is located in the natural setting of Bruguers, in Besalú, 5 minutes' drive from the city centre. It offers well-equipped apartments, studios and rooms with mountain and garden views. The property also features a swimming pool and free Wi-Fi throughout. staff was great. helpfull with reccomendations of where to go. also assisted in every need. room & bathroom was spacious and nice. great surroundings in the midle of nature.

This family-run hotel is located 2 minutes’ walk from the beach in Cadaques Bay. Set in a traditional-style building with blue and white tones, it offers a seasonal outdoor pool and sun terrace.

The bright rooms at Hotel Blaumar Cadaqués feature scenic views, rustic décor and traditional Catalan floors. Some rooms have balconies and all include plasma cable TV and en-suite bathroom. Everything the owners and staff were the most friendly we have met on this trip the pool was perfect rooms clean and generous size balcony lovely view can’t fault the hotel

Balneari Termes Orion offers a thermal spa. Surrounded by gardens, the hotel features an outdoor pool.

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning. The flat-screen TV has satellite channels and the private bathroom comes with amenities. Had a wonderful stay here. The staff were so kind and helpful. The spa facilities were perfect. The buffet dinner was great value.

Els Jardins de la Martana can be found in the historic centre of Besalú, next to the famous Romanesque bridge. It has free Wi-Fi and mountain views.

Besalú is famous for its Romanesque architecture, and is located in the Garrotxa region. Girona is about 35 km away. Free parking can be found very nearby. Right at the Medieval bridge entering town. Free parking outside. Large room, very large. Old style furniture, which I much liked.

Canyelles Platja is located on the seafront just outside Roses with direct access to the beach. It has a swimming pool, a restaurant with sea views and free Wi-Fi access.

All rooms in Canyelles Platja have flat-screen satellite TV, air conditioning and a private balcony. We arrived very late at night, around 1 a.m., and were welcomed warmly by the night receptionist, who even offered us his own parking spot, an incredible gesture. From that moment on, every member of the staff was exceptionally kind and professional, truly setting the standard for hospitality. The location is unbeatable: right across the street from the beach, with a quiet road in front and plenty of shops nearby. There’s even a private tunnel that takes you directly to the beach – a top highlight. The hotel is freshly renovated, clean, and modern. Our sea-view room had a large balcony with comfortable furniture, and it was magical to fall asleep to the sound of the waves. Breakfast was outstanding; fresh, varied, and delicious. Definitely worth choosing the breakfast-inclusive option. The pool area, right next to the restaurant, made it easy to enjoy a swim, a drink, or a snack in a relaxed atmosphere. In short: excellent staff, superb location, top-notch amenities, and a wonderful atmosphere. A solid 10/10. I would absolutely stay here again.
