The location, in close proximity to bars and restaurants, was ideal. The apartment offered an exceptional view of Plaza Mayor, adorned with Christmas decorations. From our bedroom, stepping onto a small balcony allowed us to savor the enchanting Christmas lights, elevating the pleasure of our stay. We cherished the experience and eagerly anticipate a return visit.

Really relaxed but elegant and beautiful. The rooms are quiet and lovely. The robes and slippers were so nice. The staff were very welcoming and excellent.

The location is ideal, nestled in a charming town alongside a natural preserve bordering the River Duero. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the excellent hiking opportunities, while families will find plenty to enjoy. We were pleasantly surprised to discover fine dining options nearby, and the proximity to Toro—just a 15-minute drive away—makes this a perfectly positioned base for exploring the region (and its wines). Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful, authentic Spanish countryside experience with all the comforts of home.

We needed a one night stay while on our road trip from the top of France to the bottom of Portugal and this was the perfect spot! The garage space was great for our large car, and we didn’t have to unload everything out of our car to keep it safe, the treats that they left inside were so great, both for breakfast and snacking! And a sweet gift was left also. The bed is comfortable as is the living room. It was a handy to have an elevator and communication was very clear and quick. Tons of restaurants close by as well as grocery stores. Nice grass area outside to walk the dogs. Nice city we had never been to, we were very pleasantly surprised!

There is a very quiet road that makes for an extremely pleasant stroll! The hotel owner will help with getting a reservation at the local restaurant, Bar Dulcinea. We had a delicious meal prepared by Violeta. We highly recommend having dinner with them! Breakfast was very typical Spanish with some of the best orange juice we've ever had!

The staff were exceptionally friendly—special thanks to Juan Carlos and Álvaro for the way they received us, the staff at the Vinoteca, for their great recommendations and food. In general, everyone made us feel very welcome since day one. Our dog was very well accepted, and he was able to dine with us on the terrace of the Vinoteca The wines were excellent, and the wine tour with Francisco was insightful and engaging. Definitely a must-do. As we were celebrating our honeymoon, the team went above and beyond by upgrading us to the Master Suite, a gesture that truly made our stay memorable. The suite was incredible, and their attention to detail made us feel so special. The pool was relaxing, and all the amenities were spotless. In summary, this is truly a top-tier hotel that will stay in our hearts forever. Abadía Retuerta delivered not just a stay but an experience we will always cherish.
