The hotel sitting over a petrol station is quirky and a must for motor fans. However it’s the staff that make it. They are so helpful. The hotel says it’s pet friendly and it truly is. Treat and bowls for the dog on arrival. Yet if you came here without a pet you would not know it. The rooms are immaculate with really funky decoration. The personalised decor (cushions, mags) depending on where you’re from is a nice touch. The local area is quiet but the hotel has a recommended pizza place which is a must see. Food is good and staff are also very friendly.

Το Casablanca Hotel Studios βρίσκεται σε μια ήσυχη περιοχή της Santa Marta de Tormes, 5χλμ. από το ιστορικό κέντρο της Σαλαμάνκα. Everything was exceptional. Excellent quality and comfort. Excellent value/price ratio.

Το Hostal Granada απέχει μόλις 8 λεπτά με τα πόδια από την Plaza Mayor της Σαλαμάνκα, κοντά στα δημοφιλή τάπας μπαρ της οδού Van Dyck. Small, comfortable and not ruinous to the pocket hostal. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Not very spacious but perfect for the stay. Location is perfect - all amenities are just within 10 minutes walk. There are plenty of tapas bars, restaurants around the place.

Hospes Palacio de Arenales dates back to the 17th century and was formally the holiday residence of a noble family. This 5-star hotel offers a wellness centre and spa. Although I wasn’t travelling with my dogs I was delighted to find out this is a dog friendly hotel, it even had a dog friendly restaurant inside the hotel. The staff there very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent. There is nothing I could fault.
