Open fire and comfy sofas. Local products including food and hand soaps. Well Appointed font yea, coffee and biscuits within the room- all local. Warm, comfortable, spotlessly clean rooms. Our second visit to the New House based on an equally lovely stay last year.

This beachfront property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Brand new house with really nice rooms, everything was super clean. The best part was the huge kitchen. Breakfast was also great.

The property is around 17 km from Kinnersley Castle, 26 km from Clifford Castle and 27 km from Clun Castle. The hotel has family rooms. It's a smallish building but many people were there for dinner, so it felt lively and was very welcoming. We arrived late-ish (8pm) and were pleasantly surprised that dinner was served (on a Thursday) until 9pm. Everyone who worked there and was a patron were very friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night and had to leave early, but the room was clean and comfortable and loved the charm of the pub next to the church.

The toilet and showering facilities were separate to the cabin which was really nice. Communication with the host before our stay was fantastic. Would definitely be visiting again.

Location was amazing, clean, tidy, organised, well presented, we both really enjoyed our stay and would love to come again in the near future, such a nice little break

Bodnant Garden is 20 km from the hostel, while Bangor Cathedral is 34 km from the property. Liverpool John Lennon Airport is 120 km away. This is a very nice hostel. Very cosy and very comfy 24/7 facilities. It is possible to self check in at any hour, and there is basic food to purchase in the kitchen too at any hour - quite handy (tea, coffee, beer, oatmeal, instant noodle etc). The common area is very neat and nice - i spent quite a lot of time there, chilling after a hike, cooking and eating food and even working on my laptop. I stayed in a female only dorm, that has 6 comfy beds, and there were 2 toilets and 2 showers just for our room, so i never had to wait to have a shower etc. There are hair dryers available, and a whole separate drying room both for laundry and wet clothes after a hike. Beds were perfect, pillows were perfect, not creaky as in some dorms. With very good quality bedsheets and towels. Overall, if i am in betws y coed again, i will certainly stay in Gwersyll Cyntaf Eryri.
