Brand new property! Location was good and walking distance to a lot of places. The bed was super thick and comfy. The hostel is spot clean and big common space for hang out and chill. Staffs were so friendly and approachable! Definitely place to come back.

Amazing location. The check-in process was quite easy and the girl at the desk was really kind and gave us great suggestions for restaurants nearby. We had the Deluxe Suite which was spacious and neat. Great interior design and the bed was super comfy. Next time we're in Athens, we're definitely staying at Cohort!

To me, top priority wherever I stay is cleanliness, then comfort and service. The Modernist ticks all the boxes. Such a pleasant stay. Lovely interior (modern and sleek), great location, fantastic staff, super-clean. I loved my "M"-sized room that came with a cute balcony (and a nice view, at that). Truly enjoyable stay. I highly recommend The Modernist and would absolutely stay there again.

I loved the attention to details and the fact that we felt so spoiled by the hotel staff! Every day we got a small treat in our room (small cakes, cheese platter) and on New Years' Eve we got a hole local cake and some artisanal candles as a gift. Also every request that we had was rapidly and pleasently answered. The hotel is perfectly located, just across the street from the Hellenic Parliament, 100 m away from the Attica department store and about 5 minutes away from Kolonaki area.
