I liked everything - the location cannot be better, it's ten seconds away from auto stand, from the stop where chicken buses to San Pedro, San Peublo, Santa Clara pass and stop, one minute away from Central Park, one minute from market, five minutes from boat pier, two minutes away from where the bus from Antigua stops in San Juan. Plus, the best road in San Juan with beautiful lighting with umbrellas is one minute away. All in all, it's the best location in San Juan. Yet it's so quiet. Internet is excellent, my room was big and clean, staff were very sweet and helpful. Washroom is always clean, bathroom has good hot showers, kitchen is very clean with adequate utensils. There's lots of drinking water for refilling Best part of all is Andrea, the hostess, she helped me book the direct bus from Antigua to San Juan. The travel agents in Antigua only offer buses to Panajachel. It's quite a pain to have to then take a boat to San Juan with luggage. The bus that Andrea booked for me picked me up at Antigua from near, my hostel there and dropped me a few minutes away from Chirris hostel. The hostel felt perfectly safe throughout, Andrea guided me for things to do, how to do Indian nose hike on my own using public transport and even helped to book my bus from the hostel to Guatemala airport. I liked the hostel so much I extended my stay by two more days. There is a refrigerator available for use and a stove where it's possible to cook. I visited San Pedro, San Marcos and Panajachel and I found San Juan had the best vibe. And because of proximity of the hostel to the boat pier, the auto stop and bus stop, it was quite easy for me to travel to other villages from here.

The view is amazing from El Picnic, Johan and Gaby are lovely hosts, the food is delicious, best inclusive breakfast we’ve ever had. There is also an option for dinner which again was amazing.

Lakefront Villa with Beach Access & Infinity Pool heeft uitzicht op het meer, en biedt accommodatie met een balkon en een koffiezetapparaat, op 25 km van vulkaan Atitlán. The property was beautiful! It has amazing lake views, the staff was very attentive and friendly, and the location was ideal (very easy to get around on a Tuk Tuk). We stayed here as a family of 4 and it was great! Definitely recommend for your next stay!

Perfect place for those seeking quiet and solitude. It’s a cozy two-story cabin with a kitchen, fridge, coffee machine, and great Wi-Fi. Just a 5–10 minutes walk along a narrow path to the San Pablo dock. The views are absolutely stunning, sunrise and volcanoes right from the cabin. I ended up extending my stay. Nicholas was super kind, helpful and responsive.
