Our stay at Terimakasih Homestay was absolutely fantastic! The location is perfect, with a stunning reef right in front of the property – ideal for snorkeling and enjoying the marine life. The food was delicious and freshly prepared, offering a delightful variety of flavors every day. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel truly welcomed. The owner, Mario, was very responsive and helpful. The rooms and common areas were clean and tidy, reflecting the homestay's commitment to providing a comfortable environment for guests. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the beauty of Raja Ampat with top-notch hospitality! We are coming back for sure.

The owner and all the staff were very kind and friendly. The bedroom was very spacious and clean, built with high-quality, sturdy materials. The decor was beautiful, and the view was amazing. There was a USB charger in the bedroom which was convenient for charge your mobile and camera. Electricity was available 24/7, and the Wi-Fi signal was strong in every room and throughout the resort. The private bathroom was clean, and the water pressure was very strong. The housel reef was stunning—you could spend an entire week exploring it. Highly recommended!!

Ensuite bathroom and very welcoming staff! I have to give a special mention to the dive shop run by Will and Rufus. I was diving the first week with soul scuba, as I had a reservation and for the last 3 days I switched to turtle dive. Diving with Will and Rufus was just so much cooler and personal. Great rental equipment and they bring you to the good action packed dive spots. It was amazing, so if diving is your top priority in Raja Ampat dont hesitate and dive with Turtle.

This homestay on Besir island is ideally located near several interests spots in Raja Ampat. The place is calm, only two cabins on the water, connected to a village full of charm. The utilities are on the beach, near the owner's house. It's very clean and has everything required to answer basic needs. Regarding the rooms, mosquito net on the bed, fan, electricity at night, blankets, hammock, sunbed and basic furnitures. All the meals (included in the reservation) are served to your cabin, they vary and are prepared by an great cook! So everything is tasteful and good. No connection except if you get a SIM card on arrival at Sorong's airport but deconnection is great. It's easy to communicate with the owner who speaks well English (rare in Raja Ampat) and he tries his best for you to have the best stay possible. Him and his family are super nice and welcoming while respecting your privacy. I came with a friend and we stayed 3 full days, we had an amazing time there and we can only recommend this place. All the activities we've done through them were memorable, we had a lot of fun. Have a good holiday there!

This place looks so beautiful, the family have created such a beautiful, place with shells and driftwood decorating everything, we loved it. The food was incredible and the room was very comfy. The house reef was beautiful and we saw mantas straight from our room! Thank you so much for such a beautiful stay.

The hostess is incredibly friendly and helpful, always smiling and trying to address any of your requests. She speaks very good English, communicates very efficiently and has a in-depth knowledge of the activities in Waisai and surrounding islands. Highly recommended.

Family feeling; easily to feel at home with this lovely family of four (Helga, Timon and their 2 beautiful young daughters who love to make friends). Oh, and I forgot their two sweet dogs Ringo & Dingo 🐾🐾 Owners are very helpful and speak several languages so easy to communicate with them. Internet is sometimes a bit unstable so take that into account when expecting speedy replies (sometimes it just doesn’t work and patience is a good thing to have). The food - home style cooking (breakfast, lunch and dinner are all cooked by the owner and her team and she is a great cook; we loved every meal which was perfectly catered to our vegetarian / pescatarian wishes) The rooms are close to nature as well, with very comfy beds (we stayed in both the smaller and the biggest family room, which easily fits 3 respectively 4 people; the 3rd bed in the smaller room has a wonderful treehouse feeling and there is a bunkbed in the biggest room). Hard to capture the beauty of the rooms in just one picture (I took several but could only post one here with my review). You can hear the sea and birds from your bedroom. It’s right next to you. No frills, just natural materials, which we loved. Also no warm water, but easily to get used to. There’s a shower and mandi style shower. Also your own toilet. Plus the blue blue sea right at your doorstep and a lovely sitting area with a hammock to complete the zen-feeling. There’s a long jetty into the sea with a perfect spot for exercise/meditation/yoga at the end. Fitness with a view! It’s quiet and feels very private. You instantly feel relaxed here. Different excursions to choose from, both on land and on/under the sea. Please note: these come at an extra cost and Raja Ampat area is not cheap!!!! Blacktip sharks are frequent visitors, especially earlier in the morning. And there is a great sunset deck (also a spot with the best signal). I would definitely recommend this place!
