This hotel, without previously knowing me, helped me arrange a special request I will forever be grateful for! Besides, the hotel is very enchanting, elegant, and authentic, reminiscent of rustic Italian haciendas, with many terraces full of plants offering sea views (even breakfast is served on a beautiful terrace directly overlooking the sea) and beautiful gardens all around the property; it's practically an estate. You need to be there to fully experience the vibe, but it is on par with much more expensive accommodations you can find in Tuscany, for example. Our room was cute with a direct view of the sea, Mount Vesuvius, and the Sorrento coastline. Everybody from the staff was incredibly hospitable, dedicated and pleasant. This could be a luxurious 5-star hotel with certain upgrades, but I think it's better to stay exactly as it is, offering authentic experience at a reasonable price.

Hotel Sorrento City is located next to Piazza Tasso, the main square in Sorrento. The Circumvesuviana Station is just along the road, where you can take the train to Pompeii and Naples. Coaches leave from here to the picturesque town of Positano. Catch a ferry from the nearby port to the islands of Ischia and Capri. Great little hotel. Excellent breakfast and helpful valet parking.

Located in the centre of Sorrento, 700 metres from Peter's Beach, A casa di Erica provides air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi. The property features garden views and is 5.5 km from Marina di Puolo and 15 km from Roman Archeological Museum MAR. Amalfi Harbour is 31 km away and Maiori Harbour is 35 km from the bed and breakfast. The room was very clean, the staff was very sweet she let us come a little earlier to drop off our stuff. The location is also absolutely perfect, right next to the center of town.

In a prime location in Sorrento, Maison Tullio Sorrento is a recently renovated bed and breakfast, which offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. It is set less than 1 km from Peter's Beach and features a lift. The bed and breakfast features family rooms. The host was amazing - she went over and above to support us when I had to go to hospital. Not something you would usually get! Apart from that, it the apartment had the most comfortable bed in the whole of Italy, the Netflix and YouTube was refreshing to have after 3 weeks of a foreign language. The balcony view was lovely of the street. I would definitely stay there again if we came back to Italy!!

The location was great, far enough out of Sorrento for some much needed peace and quiet but only a short bus ride into the centre. The local beach was much nicer than the main options in Sorrento itself. Enzo was a fantastic host, with the dinner prepared and served by him on one night being an absolute highlight of our trip!
