Trevor and Jean are lovely hosts and they made us feel like home the moment we arrived. The property is beautiful, quiet, with amazing garden and swimming pool. There’s a lot of nice spots to chill around, and board games and ping-pong table 🤗 The staff is very lovely and does all they can to make your stay memorable. We’ve fallen in love with Saidi’s food - In addition to delicious breakfast, he can arrange diner, and we went for seafood platter which was heaven. The room is so lovely and comfortable with ALL you might need: comfy bed, hairdryer, fridge, AC, fan, closet, hot shower with good pression, etc. Really, this place is heaven and we’re excited to come back. Great location. Really well maintained. Great garden, pool and proximity to the beach. We visited the expensive resorts down the other end but the beaches not as nice and didn't have the same feel. We stayed in Bijou Room 1 for a week and would easily stay again. Really clean, new and homey. Benjamin and the team were extremely polite and helpful. They allowed us to extend our stay and booked us onto the train back to Nairobi and arranged a transfer to Mombosa. You could hire yourself a motorbike or car for the stay but we found it easy enough to flag down motorbikes or tuk tuks as needed. Just make sure you have enough change or ask to stop at the petrol station to change it.

There are few properties I've considered giving such a high rating as Q boutique to be honest and they deserve it! It's a fairly new property but they've really considered so many aspects of their experience. The staff are very thoughtful and helpful and warm. The rooms/villas are quaint and cozy while still meeting professional standards of hospitality. The breakfasts had a good variety of dishes and even a few things we asked for on request like lemon tea. The dinner was a hearty serving of very fluffy mashed potatoes, steamed veggies and the tastiest fish! I really like their swimming pool, it was always clean and especially by afternoon the water's a great temperature. We ended up staying an extra night than what was planned at Q boutique because we had such a good experience. I'd definitely go back here and it would be my luxury place of choice for Malindi.

The property is beautifully maintained, in a peaceful and convenient location, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the unique charm of Watamu. I wish I could have stayed longer, but I will definitely come back for more nights in this little paradise. Congratulations to the whole team!
